I respect the need. I don’t think it should be a gendered carve out though. It should be more broadly available medical leave to all. It should be individually evaluated.

Men have 6x more workplace injuries because of the jobs they do and the tasks that they are assigned in the same position. Many get little sympathy so they go on full disability

It sounds good but in most cases in Europe it already is covered by the regular sick leave. But i guess they aren't finished on the left with token laws.

When you are in severe pain you go on sick leave , your gender is irrelevant regarding pain.

My issue with this is that men then will have to pay for something that they will never be able to receive the benefits of themselves, and generally, women already take more out of a state's coffers than that they put in. So I think this would be fine, but only as long as women themselves pay for it. For example, a small tax on their income (let's call it a menstrual tax) which could go to a state-wide fund , very similar to how an insurance operates.

I live in the US and I was teacher for 25 years and always missed 1or 2 days a month. It was horrible! We were allotted 2 sick days a month- thank goodness!

Another reason why employers will employ men basically women can now work 3weeks and get paid as a man that works 4🤔 this might backfire

It'll be from rare to all women, then women will sue employers for discrimination because employers obviously would choose men over women especially if they have to pay them the same

That's cool. I don't think everyone needs it but there are definitely those who do.
