FYI your mode ran out which triggers return to zero so you don't deal damage until the animation is Done but for you it ran out right before the kickaway hit which is the hit that kills

mode ending makes the giorno go back a bit for like 3 second which lets the enemy not get hit for that moment. giornos seven page muda only kills at the last hit. the mode ended at the end of the seven page so the enemy didn’t get hit by the seven page last hit which kills.
