I didn't watch this anime in my hole life, just found this song on a spotify shoujo playlist, and now while watching this unknown anime scene, I feel strangely nostalgic, like I want to cry ... I don't know why, but I feel like I'm a child again watching it on a gray TV box

People complaining here about the voice clearly don't listen to regular jpop... that is legit how jpop idols sound.. its about making people happy not about perfection ~ thats kpop lol

Well, I'm not surprised that her singing voice is not as amazing as how we used to think. Personally, in my opinion, this anime dated way far back, so maybe unlike today, where a musical character have two different voice actors, spesific for talking and singing, Mermaid Melody voice actors have to cover for both talking and singing...
