Really? a fighting mechanic. I sometimes wish certain RP Games had a bit of actual combat. Like Kingdom Life, but a Dunkin Donuts-inspired cafe game is the last game I'd expect one to have

This game uses the appearance of a liminal space which i know a lot of about because ive been posting liminal photos on reddit but not the liminal space subreddit but another one which is not as popular, so basically what is happening is it includes nostalgia like when you went to a Restaurant and you were a kid and as you waited people started leaving and it was empty while you and your parents were waiting for the check but now that your older that memory of that moment becomes distorted and with the music in the game with that moment can give the feeling of a liminal space and you can find complications of liminal spaces with unsettling music like the music in the restaurant also became distorted with the memory

I can't believe that after all of the speculative creepypastas, the Polybius and Mario 64 theories, they finally made a real psy-op video game. Incredible.

btw when i was like 5 my brother forced me to play call of duty zombies which actually made me develop special hatred and scardness (whatever its called) to horror games that put too many jump scares

As someone who lives near several Dunkin’ Donuts irl it absolutely bamboozles me that they’d make the interior so dark and depressing I’ve been instead Dunkin’ Donuts several times and I can ashore you that non of the buildings I’ve been in has been as sad as the one in this game

I dont get how it the worst at all, it just had a funny fighting mechanic and a odd map, the game supposedly had lore aswell but nobody really cared for it. Theres literal sex games on roblox, I don't get how this could be the worst in any way possible.

I know it’s a minor thing but you deserve to be commended for referring to it as “psychologically” and not “mentally”. Nowadays the word mentally is used in literally almost any context relating to people’s minds and its almost to a point where it’s annoyingly cringe and gives that obnoxious imagery of depression.

The map actually looks like the basement from a short horror film called "The Kid and the Camera"

for how his tone sounds, it definitely seems like something you'd have to experience yourself. Through only pictures and sound alone this didn't seem anywhere close to how he was making it out to be.

I played another roleplay game like this before too- there was a game called "The Vampire Diaries" and the roleplay game was inspired from real life series. But the problem was that the player base was extremely toxic and whenever you tried to do something, the players would kill me in so many disturbing ways (breaking neck, drowning, decapitating etc.) Since the game maintained gore. But the game and the creator of the game got banned lol

The visuals are 100% relaxing to me, worn down styles is a real and popular aesthetic. Wabi-sabi immediately comes to mind, which is my favorite aesthetic.
I would actually change the music to a way more peaceful one, rather than an annoying pop song.

There have been many games involving fetishes (whether it’s outright a fetish game, like the giantess one, or based off of a fetish game, like the goo/slime furry game that’s still popular), and genuine p*rn games. The fact that people even try to make these games on a site intended for minors is hella disgusting.

I think they wanted to make a modernized vintage era cafe but the builder got the wrong message and built some shit you would see from gotham, the fact you could fucking fight in a roleplay cafe game is so funny and terrifying with the bubbly pop music.
