Stupidest logic by SEBI. To protect someone from losses, you can't take away everyone's earning opportunity. There can surely be better ways to protect newcomers. Also, with the new rules, one needs to pay complete margin even for stoploss orders(which doesn't make sense because I am exiting the position, not getting into one). How is the SEBI protecting me if I am not even able place stoploss orders properly?

I am ok with no leverage. It makes life simpler stree free. But I also want guys who want have the ability to take heavy leverage and trade.

Hate to buy options just to avoid peak margin penalties, life's sad now.

There should be atleast 10x leverage and it should depend upon person if he wants to take that margin or not. Don't impose rules om traders let them decide what's good or bad for them. Don't make this market only for riches

If you are a newbe and blow your account it's your mistake of not knowing market and that newbe works years to predict market because he know from 5 lakh we put also we can make 40 lakh end of year so why not a new one attract to this financial market because of high leverage and huge potential of profit with management of loss after cutting margine profits potential also cuts

What is SEBI doing about the day when NSE had a glitch and option prices just froze and Index moved 1% up and down without anyone being able to square off. They just want retailers to pay but won't ask these Exchanges to improve their infrastructure. Come to think of it, a black swan event happening because of market freeze is much more likely than a 10% market crash overnight.

new traders use to enter the market only because of high profit and it was all thanks to leverage but now its 5x which is not even attractive anymore and has very very low profit rate. I think they should have made this rule for new traders who just have opened there account or trading for less than a year. They gona learn money management but its not useful for trader like us who already knew that aspect and all we have was leverage strategies which helped us to make a good profit but now its all gone. Just closed my account bcs of this you have to pay margain, taxes, fees as well as annual maintainance you can't make a good living out of it now and you can notice that volume has gone down drastically like crazy.

Yeah right , come to the markets and check out the volumes , stocks like reliance are moving like penny stocks , thanks to the so called rules , india vix is sitting at low of 13 but indexes are moving 300 point in only 5 minutes , we dont care about leverage , we care about the volumes that are fading away , and guess what you guys only make these videos to sell your shitty app , but come test the waters , and see for yourself , so called rules are in favour only of the operators.

Plan of SEBI to remove small players and give market in hands of Big players....No point in reducing margins .. everyone has their own plan to trade...Loss will not happen to small trader's now as they are not able to trade itself due to lack of capital....It's a big scam
