Amazing vocal by Marvin, amazing bass line by James but lordy that orchestration on the strings by Norman are truly a work of art. Ranks right up there with the "Ode To Billie Joe" when it comes to moody, dark strings.

One can only wonder where he would have taken his music if he had lived.

I use to love to line dance to this song. My friends use to set up a soul train and we would take turns to come down the row and dance. Thank you, Marvin Gaye for the great music and memories!
