My friend lost her iPhone, and when I checked her iCloud the iPhone still there. But after few hours the device was removed from her account. There a lot IPhone bypass services, though they are not publicly available

From what I read, the way it works is the iPhone's Bluetooth chip continues to recieve power after turning the phone off and it does that to connect to nearby apple device to update its location.

i just lost my phone a week ago but when i tried using the find my iphone app on my sisters iphone it keeps showing "no location found". i know for sure that the sim is still slapped in there i dont know if it is connected to any network or wifi but it has been since finding but still no good results. i tried reportjng it to the police but they said they cant help me. i keep searching on how to get its location but every method i tried it keeps saying "no location found" and its offline

Good luck, I have seen devices travel all the way to Chinese factories (former cyber security and IT Tech). They're either scrapped or sold to third parties on the black market. Not much the authorities, Apple, or you can do about it. The only thing that can be done is to make sure you insure your device, report it stolen, and get it replaced through insurance.

Cops said we asked and they said they don't have it and we can't come in so we can't do anything 😂 now that I work at a phone store I've heard of customers w the same storie

They end up in china unlocked and sold thats why people are getting weird pictures and videos in their iCloud accounts lol they think apple are buying stolen phones and striping them for parts.. also the IMEI numbers are used on fake iPhones thats how they have real IMEI numbers when you check them online. Also they think the manufacturers that assemble the phones are buying stolen iPhones and using their in house software to bypass the iCloud account locks and then re selling them at the market's or their employees are using the software.. especially when the chip shortage was at its worse they was struggling to get parts and buying stolen iPhones to strip.. apple is very very likely aware and involved in the Chinese stolen iPhone market.

😂 open it up unplug battery and remove sim. Easy and after that you buy a new motherboard 1/3 of the price.

Step 1 remove SIM card.
Spot 2 turn all the shit off
Step 3 dismantle the parts and sell separately

Uhhhh who wouldn’t pop the sim the second they take the phone? First thing you do is turn the phone off, pop the sim, throw away any cases or any identifying features, then use imyfone program which you do have to pay for but it works!!!! It will restore the phones software and make it usable, at least on the surface of things because the IMEI will most likely be blacklisted, so move it quickly and it’s easy money, don’t listen to anybody else
