I like the idea of not purchasing a lot., but buy small amount for the small kitchen. My kitchen is small so I am taking in the ideas. I would like to make derp drawers to put containers and label the top so I don't have to move and draw out from the back. I. Drawer I can read the too and take out

Just a thought maybe using one of those toekick drawers to store a stepstool to gain access to the taller cabinets

We are adding a kitchen in the basement for an ADU. We will have one large toe-kick drawer. We're going with a microwave with exhaust fan.We'll have an 18" dishwasher, 30 inch counter depth fridge, a 30 inch wall oven. The most controversial choice is we are not having a cooktop so that we have more counter space; instead we will have a portable induction hob, which we'll store in the toe-kick drawer when not in use.

I have 2 cabinets.

I have a white 2pac small kitchen with black granite bench tops we did so it's stands out as weave a huge verandah over the kitchen so not a huge amount of light

I'm late to comment but currently neck deep in a neverending small 100 sq ft kitchen diy remodel. Here's my newest ideas: We're removing 2 upper cabinets and replacing them with open shelving that will add several more usable feet as they'll be L shaped and higher. We're upcycling those 2 cabinets, repainting, putting casters and topping with butcherblock to form a rolling work station in an area not big enough for a regular depth cabinet. Doing the same in another area with 2 other upper cabinets in an area we cant put a regular kitchen cabinet due to a large low window. (100 yr old house) Then upgrading to new upper cabinets but putting them to the ceiling which will allow for a floating shelf to go under the bottom for frequently used aesthetically pleasing cooking items so my counter is clear. Then replacing lower cabinets with drawer cabinets. We're also downgrading in size to a small microwave/air fryer/ convection oven combo. We're saving money by buying a few used cabinets at the Habitat restore and refacing them ourselves. Our new high end flooring came from there too, saving us $700. Anything new will be our biggest cost. Our new high end "dream" appliances all came from fb marketplace at a fraction of the cost. Bouji on a budget for this wanna be gourmet cook lolol. awww you are so smart....i wish you can come redesign my small galley kitchen i know what i want and its exactly right i want pull out drawers to store pots/pans instead of cabinets everything gets lost in cabinets and i want to have microwave/wall oven and just do away with the stove/oven and just have a stove top...the make drawers under the stovetop for the pots/pans

Adding a pull-down shelf like Rev-a Shelf to higher shelves increases the frequency and likelihood that those items will be used regularly. Since I am petite, only one shelf in my uppers is actually easy to access. Pull down shelves and counter pantries are my next additions to my smaller kitchen. It's all about ease of use for me!

Those little drawers that pull out for stepping on look hard to clean. I’m a clean freak and I would think it would be easier to clean a step stole.

I love everything! Except the spice rack over the cooking surface. The heat is bad for the spices and the grease from cooking is a pain to clean.
