i think if the Bose and Emberton were that close to your ears, than the looks of the emberton are enough to seperate it easily

Wow, the Marshall sounded really bad in your video. Boxy, muffled, bassy, distant... I enjoyed the JBL most, which surprises me, being a somewhat-highend hifi guy.

You love emberton so this is really weird . sony and jbl should definitely switch palace because except for bass xb23 if way better than flip 5
This is not based on video. I own xb23. Flip 5 was little bit expensive it's more popular and i love bass but i chose not to spend few more bucks for more bass and lower sound quality

To me, Flip 5 sounds better than Marshall. I did personally tested and I'm an audiophile. Marshall has a slight edge on sound quality but the soundstage sucks compared to Flip 5. With that said, overall, Flip 5 is the best.

Its funny because i have a couple older altec lansings and they sound very nice. Im not an audio file but i do use a marantz with really good klipsche speakers so i do know good sound stage. I dont know about the new altecs but my 2019 altec is actually very clear and not muddy with bass.
