ОтветитьOh wow, the leaching of plastic especially under Heat, but you have to do it to keep your governmental organic status. No matter what we do the government is still going to poison us
ОтветитьThis channel is so good😊 keep going
ОтветитьThe owner has an incredibly energy. I love watching people talk about something they enjoy and are passionate about.

ОтветитьWhat a great idea, Bryce! I love your concept for this Good Work series! 👏
ОтветитьLiked! Thanks!
ОтветитьReally impressive businesswoman and a great video. I joined my first CSA in the early 1990s and have been a member of many since.
It’s important to note, though, that organic farming like this will not enable us to become sustainable as a planet. As George Monbiot explains in his recent book “Regenesis: Feeding the World Without Devouring the Planet”, farming like this simply does not scale to feeding more than a small wealthier minority of people. I wish it was otherwise but we need to look at the numbers.
Love that organic food is becoming more mainstream. You could tell this farmer is scientifically minded when she referred to her unborn child as a fetus, which gave me a chuckle.
Ответить👍👍
ОтветитьShame about the black plastic beds, would love to see a zero plastic approach- but imagine that would be very hard.
Ответитьyeah, gotta wean yourself off that plastic mulch if you can. because it leaves your soil so far behind. Stuck in a cycle of tillage. I'd contact singing frogs farm if you can. It can be really tough walking away from the system that folks sell because it seems so easy and cost effective but long run. Always a scam because it cuts you off from the soil growth. Even a living mulch might be better if you have that kind of issue even though a living mulch is so much stupid work. I'd do no dig and grow some fast growing trees on like 1 side acre. In cali we were always no till because we were urban gardeners and if you are urban you use every inch as it's gold because it's gold. And you can't really till if you got a stitch of sense in you. So, we were always setup for no till and just woodchips, and shredded cardboard and leaves. So many farmers who been plastic mulching for years and they have like the worst soil. THE WORST. But you probably have a state with a lot more rain regularly than central valley. So more room and more option but I can tell you from just years of this. Never get in a plastic cycle if you can help it. Always be notill and always be mulching with woodchips, leaves, hay whatever you need to burry the weeds. Plastic is a last resort type thing not a first option.
ОтветитьGosh! She's a business genius. ❤️👏
ОтветитьThis week, Dave Brandt, the farmer behind the "It ain't much, but it's honest work" passed away this past Sunday, aged 76. Coincidentally, this video game out. You must have been working on this while this happened. I like to think that this episode is a tribute to Dave. He did a lot of good for sustainable farming, too.
Rest easy, Mr. Brandt.
