Thanks for doing this one. I have wanted to get one of these for awhile, but now I don't think I will. When I first started leveling up my Ranger, the R7 was pretty useful. It helped me control mobs and got me out of sticky situations when I was under-level and outnumbered. It seemed like it would be good paired up with some of the Ranger's root attacks and bilethorn, making it difficult for mobs to move at all. Obviously, this Enchant would work better against several small enemies rather than one big boss.
I think the main issue I have with the Loamweave is that it relies on you getting hit, and I don't want to get hit. That's why I never got around to buying one.

I have the Loamweave R14 enchant, and I don't think it is as bad as you think. Part of the issue with the controlled test is that you were only testing it against one slow hitting mob so, of course, your EncDPS will be really, really low. The thing about Loamweave is that it procs a lot if you are in a situation with a lot of mobs. The 5 second cooldown on the enchant proc is per mob, not per enchant activation...so say you are getting hit by 5 mobs; each one of those mobs can proc the enchant at a varying time so you will observe mobs getting rooted/damaged all the time. That isn't ideal for a DPS class, but it is certainly an option for a tank class. One other nice benefit from the Loamweave enchant is that it will proc the Combatants Maneuver insignia bonus giving the player a +Combat Advantage bonus whenever the enchant procs...so even more bonus damage. One final note: You can pick up a Loamweave enchant in the R14 Weapon/Armor Enchant Choice packs.....

These are things folks can test out on preview, so thank you for the offer to share the enchant there.

Cheers

Why you still streaming that pay2win trash Neverwinter bro?

Stream some more Ashes of Creation bro. Or Final Fantasy 14. You know, some "good" games.

Yep. The loamweave looked like hot garbage as soon as I got it from the pack. Thanks for the confirmation, Good Sir. Cheers! 🍻🧔🏾

You could trade it?
I know that at least on console it's unobtainable. It's, like you said, from the pack which isn't on Zen Store anymore for some time.
I got one R8 (which can be upgraded) at the exchange vendor from Mod 16. It's BTA of course.
I even advised my friends to get one while they still can, if it gets good at any point in the game, this was the only chance to get a refinable version of it.
I still have mine, should the time come, I am ready 😂

And thanks for showing it, I always wondered how a r14 would look, never got the balls to upgrade it just for that.
