How to Zoom In and Zoom Out on Mac

Can I use my mouse to zoom in and out? Thanks :)

I have some issues using the "Tap to zoom" function on a picture allowed on my mac. If you select a picture then with the space bar you can open a preview on that preview I tap regularly with to fingers and the picture zoom in up to 100%, since the last update this feature is not working anymore, do you have any clues how to fix that? Thank you
