I ain't playing this solely on the stamina bar alone i mean it's a shooting game it ain't suppose to have a stamina bar in the first place

I wish the scrap and metals werent a thing at all. Its just time consuming grinding to upgrade weapons. It stops me from experimenting different weapons and armor.

I never played remnant 1 . But by watching this after i completed remnant 2 makes me want to play this so bad . Like throwback from what i have heard from the story of remnant 2

The game is good but I found it just too tedious solo. Dungeons are long, enemy density is high, and the bosses can have way too many adds. Co-op is definitely the way to play it.

I never knew it was possible to make a game that was so fun with so much potential but yet still so tedious, annoying and anti fun. I absolutely hate it and love it at the same time. Honestly though i hope some major changes were made for the sequel because this game could be a 10/10 but as it is now its a 6.5/10 for me. Update- its down to 3/10. The procesural generation is absolutely miserable. Seriously dont buy this game unless you enjoy running through the same levels 20 times trying to get dungeons to spawn. What a dissapointment.

I still want to play it and the sequel, what can I say I enjoy fighting monsters!

Been playing this co op with my buddy on my steam deck. What a fucking blast. Highly recommend.

I have not finished this game.
I tried number of souls and souls-like games, but I bounced back from all of them.
The latest is Lies of P demo, I'm trying and maybe I will finish it as I like the world creation. (great candidate to steam award the best game I suck at)
What was nice about Remnant was that it still had the power fantasy, sure I died and needed to redo a section but the gun play was fun.
I agree it is the third person shooter with some melee and souls elements.

Definitely a "NO" game for me. Took me like 9 hours to beat. Story is nonexistant, graphics poor, enemy variety low. Gotta admit there are like 2 or 3 fun boss fights but most of them are just "shoot everything and dont get overwhelmed by adds" fights. There are plenty of guns... but well i finished the game with a starting secondary weapon and some sniper rifle i found like 2 hours into game... Solid 3 out of 10 game for me!

Throw around souls like to loosely. Trash video. "Dark souls with guns" Why dont you just say basic monster shooter. Has no place being put by dark souls

After finding out it’s from the studio who put out Darksiders 3, similar feels are not surprising at all~.

I can easily see some elements of this game crossing over into Darksiders 4 for Strife’s gameplay

Playing this with the Steam controller. Works really well on third person shooters and does here too. Great game, very underrated. My only substantial complaint is that the areas can feel too samey within a region and not enough clutter detail.

When he started comparing how forgiving these enemies are from fromsoft enemies, I stopped listening. Pretty sure he has never played a fromsoft game. Literally 80% of from soft enemies are very weak and slow. Never have I played against an enemy in a darksouls game and thought. " oh dang, they attack way to fast, and way too often" Even the bosses attacks slow as fk.

Unfortunately the servers aren't stable anymore for co-op... none of my friends and I have been able to have a session that lasts over a half hour, usually disconnects around 15 minutes, which makes the survival mode unplayable

Beat it and every expansion....i don't think there is anything i don't have except stuff in survival mode which i never really played. So much fun......great game well worth the 169 hours i spent in it with friends and getting them done. Can;'t wait for 2 to come out this year...it and Payday 3 are the games im waiting for this year.

Will I get lost in this game?

I feel we throw around the "souls-like" moniker way too eagerly these days. This feels nothing like Dark Souls. Respawning enemies is hardly unique to Dark Souls and certainly Dark Souls is not smooth. This is more reminiscent of the pioneering action shooters of the early 2000s. Kill Switch, Freedom Fighters, Mercenaries, The Punisher, Gears of War, Rogue Trooper, Lost Planet to name a few. Back when fluid 3rd person gunfighting was really the core appeal of those games and the cover system was just coming out as a novel concept. One newer game this compares to is probably Evil Within. Still, its so refreshing to see this genre still going.

I just started it yesterday and the gunplay combat to me seemed doom eternal levels of good (not as good but an easy second best imo).
Fluid, smooth, impactfull, SO GOOD!

I couldn't get past the 3rd dungeon of the starting world. No saves and you get killed every 2 minutes and start over at dungeon start point. Usually getting blindsided by some boss that silently teleports in behind you. Devs likely needed more closed beta testing by public. They know all the cues for what is about to happen, they made the game. Players miss that. More beta testing or easier solo/offline mode. This game has great gameplay, fun, try it. Bad balance blocks so many players who try Remnant however.
