Fun fact, this is actually a screen saver. I know, no brainer, however this specific animation was developed so that the images wouldn’t be burned into the screen due to how the older technology tended to be. That’s where the word screensaver came from.

I remember staring at this in my dads storage room on his computer when I was a kid. I’m at a time in my life where I’m realizing all these random nostalgic memories have no sense or importance, but to me, and it saddens me that I can’t share it with my Dad anymore. Maybe someday I’ll have a kid and be able to give him a bunch of weird nostalgic memories that mean a lot to him. Lol cheers.

Oh my god I’m back. You took me back. I used to stare at this for hours, to the point where I’d ask my mom to use her computer and I wouldn’t even use it, I’d just watch this over and over.

This unlocked a core memory. I remember laying in bed one night but the sun was still out. Summer at 8ish most likely. I was laying in bed, couldn’t sleep. the computer in my room was on with this screensaver, and I silently watched it for multiple hours till I slept. Weird memory.
