ОтветитьI got it to eat by putting the mouse near the cave entrance I feel like it wants to feel safe while eating because it only has one hide spot but so far loves the new substrate Aspin
ОтветитьI have Reptibark Substrate I felt like it wasn't comfortable with it so I got the snake Aspin today it's still a bit cautious with me lets me hold it but sometimes tries to bite out of fear at lights or fast movements I'm trying my best to make it happy in a 10 gallon before I upgrade the tank because it hardly has room for 2 hides has a stick to climb on to hang a cave a water bowl and sometimes has a hard time eating mice because they sell me frozen mice it would try to it eat then looks around being cautious and forgets the mouse so its very stressful trying my best to keep it happy and make sure it eats well if you have any suggestions to help have it feel more relaxed it would help so much.
ОтветитьWhere can i buy the best hides for the adult ball python
ОтветитьHi I’ve recently got my first ever snake a Ball Python - I moved him into a 3.5 ft glass inclosure but he seems stressed and hasn’t eaten. I am thinking of trying him in a tub inclosure as feel that he may feel more secure and safe in there - is this ok do you think?
I also have a corn snake - can I put him in a tub inclosure too (obviously a seperate one!) I think I am learning that actually they may prefer them as they’ll feel more secure.
so if im a new snake owner, will the snake be happy in a plastic bin?
ОтветитьWhere can I get the last enclosure at I really need it
ОтветитьWhat did you use to seal the bottom?
ОтветитьI live in SA and don’t think I can get the enclosure you link for the “best”.. is there anywhere else that sells good quality PVC enclosures worldwide?
ОтветитьI’m getting a ball python this month 😊
ОтветитьThat's all well and good, but what do the snakes think of those 3 options, do they each have a preference?
Ответитьcan you use a glass enclosure with aspen chips? I have never had a snake before and don't want them to get scale rot
ОтветитьI hope someday you'll do a good better best enclosure for a hognose snake.
ОтветитьHey can you send the pvc enclosure to europ ?
ОтветитьI get some cheap glass cut from Lowe's to help cover some of those copious screen tops and hold in humidity. just don't put the lamp on the glass or it will crack it.
ОтветитьCould you do a video like this for other species too? Corn snakes, bearded dragons, etc!
ОтветитьDo you have glass doors on you enclosure or just the acrylic they come with?
ОтветитьY'all are the best. That is all❤
ОтветитьDo the snakes eat the isopods in their environment
ОтветитьWhy not plastic tubs I’n a rack system that’s the best life for ball pythons
ОтветитьIn the bioactive enclosure, how do you deal with snake poop/cleaning the enclosure?
ОтветитьI’ve been told by a herpetologist that Aspen is a terrible substrate to use for reptiles.
Ответитьwill you guys ever do a video on setting up a bio active tank specifically for ball pythons?
ОтветитьI actually hate snakes since my childhood, my mom was raised in a jungle (sort of) so she encouraged me to like snakes and handle them but I just couldn’t! It’s like I’m programmed to hate and fear them. I have recurrent nightmares about them. Then why the heck am I bingewatching this channel for the past three days with fascination?! 😂😂😂Now I know what a hognose is and snake genetics and hypos/albinos/axanthic etc and LOVE the hatching videos
ОтветитьI have ordered a 4×2×2 enclosure for my ball python and I want it bioactive but I don't know what types of plants I should use does anyone have any suggestions
ОтветитьIs the last tank bigger than the exo terra just before? Because i have the exo terra for my ball python and i think it too small so i bought the PVC tank you recommended it cost me 735 so i hope its a bit bigger lmao 🤣
ОтветитьI have a question. On the basic enclosure, doesn't the heat mat melt the bin (since it is plastic)? I'm afraid and I don't want to burn my house down 😅
ОтветитьSo how do you clean all of that when they poop on it?
ОтветитьThey poop on everything my substrate is paper towels
ОтветитьI'm still confused
ОтветитьIf you go bioactive with a large snake like this, I assume you're manually removing the snakes fecal matter? It's not a trivial matter to completely overlook in a "care" video. Pythons take huge dumps.
ОтветитьEd's shirt is fantastic in this one. 😄
ОтветитьThis is so helpful. I'm looking to get a ball python. And I wanted to make sure I have everything before I ever even get it. This was extremely informative. I owned a bearded dragon in the past and knew they needed UVB. But I never knew ball pythons needed or would benefit from UVB as well.
ОтветитьHow can I replace the screen and keep heat pads only on the exo Terra. Also, is this ok?
ОтветитьQuestions: 1- why do you caulk the joints? why not let it breathe ? 2- why the bugs? wouldn't this promote mites? Fantastic video btw
ОтветитьWhat brand is the 3rd enclosure?
ОтветитьWhat kind of bulbs and heating stuff do I need I have a heating pad and lamp and the temp doesn’t Seem high enough
ОтветитьI baby ball python we got for my grandson (then age 13) 2 years ago is now a really big girl, so I just ordered the "best" option for her. Because she has been trying to get out ever since someone forgot to put the brick back on top and she almost got out of the house.
ОтветитьHow much are those inclosures at the end?
Ответитьi don’t have 500 to drop on a tank so only for the moment i bought a 25 gallon for 120 on sale and i’m using it for my newest baby prometheus for the next few months even to a year depending on how much of a grower he is
ОтветитьYou should do a bullsnake version
ОтветитьI have cats, and I want to keep them away from my snake's enclosure when I do get a snake. Aside from keeping them in separate rooms, how can I do this?
ОтветитьThe only thing I don't like is the price it's better to just buy a rack in my case where I breed if it wasn't for that I would definitely keep one in that! My ball pythons do just fine in the racka I have to!
ОтветитьYou can use Saran wrap or wax paper on parts of the screen and just tape it down where you need the humidity to stay higher
ОтветитьNumber one issue of Aspen as it gets inside of the snake scales and causes little splinters but you can make them more aggressive
