👍🏼. Almost as fun as a B-1 squadron scramble at 0200 hrs.
ОтветитьThis jet was twice as fast and took half the time, amazingly engineered, london to new york 3hours
ОтветитьLego just release new Lego set Concorde
ОтветитьAnd even knowing the fucking plane is loud, the stupids take their children there. People with zero notion.
ОтветитьOnly thing missing are the flames coming from the tail.
ОтветитьQue se los follen a todos, por el culo sin vaselina😂😅
ОтветитьAnd people wonder why it was banned by most airports in the usa
Ответитьmajestic
ОтветитьHow the English and the French managed to cooperate long enough to build that magnificent thing is a miracle in itself. Vive le Concorde.
ОтветитьAmazing aircraft. Very sad it was taken out of service. Many thanks to the French.
ОтветитьTruly a beautiful jet.
ОтветитьWatched it take off in Cardiff Wales airport. Incredibly noisy.
ОтветитьMine right ear 👂
ОтветитьThis was, without any doubt the finest aircraft ever to grace the skies. No one, including the Russians and even the good old US of A could even come close and it really ticked them off. Aviation has gone backwards since the bureaucrats decided to pull the plug on this magnificent aircraft and one hell of a piece of outstanding engineering.
Ответитьcan’t be louder than a grand caravan
ОтветитьThis beautiful plane came from a time when the world was a bigger place and a more mysterious place. The internet and global conglomerates have made the world shrink. Things are looking the same everywhere you go but back then I remember seeing these magnificent aircraft come and go and I remember thinking how different England and France were to the USA. These things were like gods swooping down into our country and then going back to the lands where from which they came. They were just so mesmerizing and exotic.
Ответить"" Ive heard better.! 🤷♀️
ОтветитьOn take off it probably was really fast
ОтветитьSaw it as a child it legit shook the ground
ОтветитьIts America that insisted the be grounded because of the noise Mmm. At that time we had the twin towers and concorde, now we have neither. All thanks to America. Notice how it's all gone downhill since 9/11?
ОтветитьiTs LoUd, no shit
ОтветитьAmerican jealousy over this machine knew no bounds.
Ответитьho shit man
ОтветитьEvery Saturday we had the Concorde in Barbados, quite often more than one of them , that said they werent much noisier than the old McDonald Douglas DC-9.
ОтветитьI used to work at Wraysbury and would watch her take off at 11 & 3ish everyday, awesome aircraft, miss seeing her fly thanks to our shit government.
ОтветитьIt wasnt that bad inside when she took off; the acceleration though was incredible - I flew supersonic in her in 1992. As for takeoff it was louder than normal jets but not as loud as its portrayed here.
ОтветитьMy cousin designed the engines on Concorde. And i have flown on her a few times.
ОтветитьOh wow! I was at this show. I thought it looked like Brownfield in SD. I learned to fly there in the late 80's. What an amazing aircraft.
ОтветитьMy all ear: what the fu** is even that
ОтветитьUn bel oiseau.
ОтветитьNot that loud compared to aircraft of that era.
ОтветитьThey were definitely loud, but so were the DC-8s and B-707s. I used to live only a few miles from Kennedy in NY, and on several of the landing paths. Concorde had a very distinct, low, grumbling roar that announced its coming a good half minute before you saw that majestic aircraft floating past you.
ОтветитьThe plane may have itself been beautiful, but it was quite ridiculous. Stupid loud, ridiculously loud, filthy rotten polluting beast, lost money hand over fist and was only for the few elite who could afford the stupid fares. Glad it's gone.
ОтветитьThe idea of the Concorde was great. Its speed was unmatched. But although it’s been glamorized, it had many MANY problems. It absolutely sucked down fuel. It polluted much more than regular aircraft. It didn’t hold hardly any passengers. And it created such noise both on takeoff and as it was flying overhead creating sonic booms everywhere that it passed, that it was relegated only to transatlantic flights, and could only be afforded by the super rich. It would be great if we could figure out travel as such speeds again. But at the very least the limitations of physics as far as noise from breaking the sound barrier will likely always cause people to complain. Even if we figure out better sources of fuel and greener ways of traveling at that speed. Maybe there is a way to buffer or eliminate the noise from traveling at that speed. But as of yet science hasn’t figured it out.
ОтветитьI wonder how much it would be improved by applying modern technology? Just about everything is more efficient these days.
ОтветитьI used to work at an airport serviced by Concorde. I used to sit on the tarmac and eat lunch when it was flying out. They don’t allow that anymore
ОтветитьThe the insane engine thrust turned my headphones from stereo to mono
ОтветитьLoud sound-/ Maybe
ОтветитьThe English and the French have loved to hate each other for centuries but when they get their heads together they create magic.
ОтветитьThe most fantastic jet way before is time. You never ever get crowds to see jet's take-off today.
ОтветитьOfc its loud but that's the charm, 60s engines with afterburners
ОтветитьUsa built a concord
We are the boss and the greatest nation of all time
🇺🇸
It’s crazy that back in the day used to travel within 3 hrs and a half with such a crazy speed from NY to England and now it takes like 8 hrs. Is the technology get better and better? Is it?
ОтветитьWhat a noisy supersonic flying jet
ОтветитьI’ve lost hearing in my right ear!😂
ОтветитьSublime.
ОтветитьWhere's the boom? 😃
