When you did the dihybrid cross chart and used foil method, I noticed you went straight across the top(left to right) then started from the bottom up for vertical side. Does it matter if i start from bottom up or go from top to bottom? Thanks for all you do nurse cheung!
ОтветитьUr the best ❗️❗️ur helping me through nursing school and I thank u for that 🙌🏽🙌🏽
ОтветитьI take my test in 3 weeks I’m super nervous.
ОтветитьNurse Cheung, I took and passed my TEAS today and am officially a nursing student and I start school at the end of the month. You had a lot to do with that. Your videos on Human Anatomy and Psychology and Life and Physical Science were invaluable. Thank you so, so much!☺
ОтветитьFantastic video. I learned so much. THANK YOU!
ОтветитьCan you do a practice video on blood typing and more punnet square problems for dihybrid crossing?
ОтветитьLove you so much! I’m the 1k like :)
ОтветитьJust want to say that your videos and quizzes are extremely helpful. I haven’t taken a college course in 5 years and passed the TEAS 7 on my first try. Thank you soo much! ❤
Ответитьis there enough time in the exam to work out multiple allele equations
ОтветитьHello nurse Cheung!
I guess I'm stupid because I'm having a real hard time comprehending the definition of OSMOSIS. Two definitions show up on Google; "osmosis is the movement of water molecules from a solution with a high concentration of water molecules to a solution with a lower concentration of water molecules", and "water moves from areas of low concentration of solute to areas of high concentration of solute."
So, is it High to Low or Low to High?
Are they pretty much mean the same thing since one is solution and other one is solute.
Thank you so much in advance for helping with my stupidity :(, and have a wonderful weekend!
I’m studying your videos and the smart edition course religiously. I take my test at the end of them month. I struggle with short term memory so I hope to come up with mnemonics to help me remember stuff.
ОтветитьDear nurse Cheung ..I just wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart I pass my test yesterday I was soo nervous but I passed thanks to you..I'm forever grateful to you may God bless you with everything you do..thank you so much I been a CNA for 12 years but now my dream to become a nurse is coming true..I'm gonna start my LVN class this fall..thank you again🎉❤
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI passed the TEAS 7 a few days ago. Your videos plus the practice test reviews were super helpful! So glad I went over Mendel's Law of Inheritance and the punnett square☺. I was surprised I didn't have questions comprised of : select all that apply, fill in the blank, or ordered responses. For the science portion, I had questions on properties of solutions, chemical reactions, control group vs dependent/independent, DNA replication, calculating and identifying atomic number/mass, and immune cells. Have a wonderful day!!
ОтветитьDo you offer transcripts for your videos?
ОтветитьHey all , when you guys took the TEAS are the questions/answers similar to these or are they more scientifically written ? Thank you
ОтветитьTough one .. can i have a link of question s and answers to this pls ..
ОтветитьDo I need the extremely expensive ati teas study manual
ОтветитьDo they make you right out the entire punnet square or is it pre filled?
ОтветитьIs there a way I can print these slides out?
ОтветитьMost of the questions on the actual teas are way more in depth than this but this was a good refresher
ОтветитьI have to take my TEAS in less than 2 weeks. I’m praying for the best while watching your amazing videos 😅
ОтветитьThis one and chemistry scares me lol
ОтветитьI just took the TEAS and passed this morning!! I was crying from stress the night before but your videos helped me tremendously. Now it’s time to party 🎉
ОтветитьOMG !!! I am so glad that I found you. I followed you with the ATI Book and you have helped me finish the science section in studying. I was getting so discouraged and trying the finish it. But you go thought the who part of the science. Thank you so much for your videos. I feel a little more confident to take the exam
ОтветитьI just wanted to say thank you so much for all the videos for TEAS 🍵 ❤️ without your videos I would have been so lost where to even start studying for. Again, thank you so much for all these amazing videos. I hope you have a wonderful day 🎉❤
ОтветитьI don’t feel like I would do good at this part 😩
ОтветитьThank you so much for these videos! Question why do the last 2 squares change?
ОтветитьI take my ATI April 17th. I got the ATI
Study Manual from the University that I am attending. I am watching your videos and reading alone in the book. Sooooooo much information, but it is all worth it.
Omg I’m sooo confused with dihybrid cross! Why do we start with green in our squares?
ОтветитьI have watched your videos for almost a month, and I take my test on Friday. You made learning interesting.
ОтветитьLast minute run through of your videos for my test tmrw. Super helpful! :) Thank you so much.
ОтветитьHello, I am hoping someone can help me out. I am going to be taking my TEAS 7 on March 3rd and I am freaking out. The ATI book was a waste of money and full of errors. I am going mainly off of Nurse Cheungs videos and researching topics like cellular respiration on the side. To anyone that has already taken the test, will this be enough material to study to get into low 90's? I only have one shot taking the TEAS so I appreciate any and all help! Also, chemistry and English (even though its my favorite topic) are proving to be my weakest subjects.
ОтветитьI wish I would have found your videos before I purchased the ridiculously huge MOMETRIX book. You explain everything so well and simplify everything. All I have left is to watch the Chemistry and Math video then I am studying for my TEAS exam in March. Thank you for your videos they have been so helpful to me!
ОтветитьFirst of all, I LOVE your videos. I have watched all of the science ones so far as that is the area I'm struggling in and making lots of flashcards with your content to study. You really do break things down into the simplest form, so thank you for that! One question that I have is regarding meiosis II. I don't quite understand it. Do the steps begin with all of the phases of mitosis and then go into meiosis? In other words, does mitosis + meiosis II = meiosis II? (Interphase -> prophase -> metaphase -> anaphase -> telophase -> prophase II -> metaphase II -> anaphase II -> telophase II = meiosis II?) Thank you again for all of your help. You're a lifesaver! <3
ОтветитьThis is very helpful! Thank you nurse Cheung. =)
ОтветитьThis really did help me get the whole concept of these areas since most of us had learned this in highschool. One question though, I have took the teas test and I've seen some questions regarding the whole membranes and transport processes like osmosis and diffusion! Will this topic be covered in a different video?
ОтветитьCan the videos be used for the Kaplan nursing admission test?
ОтветитьGreat video, it really helped me refresh my knowledge of basic biology! I'm also using the Mometrix ATI TEAS 7 book to study and the book has so much more information to read over. The book is really overwhelming as are the practice exams and tests. I feel your videos help cover more of the basic, need to know topics that will be on the exam. Hoping my test in February has more of the topics in your video than the book! Thank you again, your videos have been lifesavers for me
ОтветитьThank you so much for your content, info is easily understood.
ОтветитьI’m so confused about the dihybrid cross , please help😢
ОтветитьCan you please recommend a book to prepare for this and nursing prerequisites?
ОтветитьBread & Beer, no Cheese because you are Vegan lol
Ответитьthank you for your videos, they're a huge help! I wonder, will we need to do the genotype/phenotype charts on the TEAS 7 where we'll have to break down all flower traits?
ОтветитьYOUR SIMPLY THE BEST💯👩🏫🏆, THANKS FOR SHARING!😃
Ответитьthank u for the vids
ОтветитьIn the chicken punnent square.... why would the chickens be black and white? couldn't it be another option that they are a blend of black and white, so grey? how do you know if it will be incomplete dominance or codominance?
ОтветитьVideo is great but can you start drawing out more, it gives us visual learners a better way to maintain the information versus just talking like you're presenting a presentation. Thank you for helping us with the information you have created though! <3
ОтветитьI just found your videos and you are a heaven sent ❤ I love how you explain and teach !!! Thank You !!! I’m studying to do my LPN to RN bridge in 2023 ! I completed a Teas exam about 12 yrs ago but I honestly do not know what I scored … it was through my school … is there a way to find out how I did?? I do know I got into my LPN program due to my high science score … I was happy to be in the program and moving forward… so it didn’t matter at the time but now I’d just like to know ..
Keep doing what your doing !!!! ❤️❤️
if we were given a punnett square like the one at 34 min would it be given that they are looking for one type of inheritance over the other and that's how we determine the coloring of the chicken? or the opposite by being given the coloring and asked to determine if it's codominant or incomplete
