I started to play wow since WOTLK, and always had sad feeling about mounts i cannot get because i started to play later than other players. This completely suck, and i think unavailability of older valuables for new players is killing the completionist enjoyment of the game. Everything should be traded between players. I wanted that stupid violet cocroach. I want not te able to get something because i'am poor as in real life, not because of started later.

my mom plays WoW and has since around launch. Before WoW, it was Everquest. Or d1, then, mostly, D2 with the rest of my siblings. or Heroes Might and Magic.

We have a family guild on Malygos too, and my grandfather and, his sister and brother, also play. in their 70s. WoW brought us together while we lived far apart, i grew up military, born in Texas, the rest of my non-immediate family mostly up in Washington.

There is nothing "hardcore" anymore about him in WoW. He doesn't even really play the game anymore. The effort he puts into the game nowadays is far from being "hardcore". I would even say, he isn't even a WoW player anymore. He is a "just chatting" react and variety streamer now. This should be clear to anybody, when his streaming time is 80-90% sitting in "just chatting " category. And for sure not in WoW.
