When To Upgrade Your Town Hall in Clash of Clans!

Am at th 8 and i am planning to rush to th 9 without upgrading anything
It would give me a lot of time to upgrade my heroes

Is that allright

Simple answer as soon as your builder is done upgrading from the last town hall

As a side note i use this attack strategy with the blizzard in the CC when im attacking TH12 and above

i have level 1 defenses still in th 9 and i dont have dragon yet bouta go to th 10😊

Meanwhile me having 5-2 level of defences on th 6

I have maxed oute everything in th11 except maxing barb,goblin and skeleton spell which i will not use my resources are full treasury is full,but i think i have not still master the attacking skills at th11 i can only do 3 with hybrid any time any base but not with any other army against a tough base.What should I do?

My question is WHEN in the month with the gold pass. Beginning after the $ drop. After 20% in the middle or right before the month ends

I remember when it penalized you loot if you attacked lower th. Glad they fixed that so rushing isn’t really that bad anymore. Sucks being stuck with upgrading defense when all offense is done.

I spent all of my gold to upgrade my town hall to level 6, town hall level 7 is 1,000,000 gold and it is gonna take me FOREVER to earn enough gold

I'm proceeding to th11 with my half-maxed th10 base after I'm upgrading my heroes to the max. defense and traps aren't mattered but they are well upgraded for a typical th10 base but not maxed. resource and army are always the main priority. I also planning to rush to th12 for once because I badly want the siege machines. I only spend my gems on obtaining the 5 builders and training boosts to make progress way faster.

I maxed out my th10 all I have to do is my lab though because it’s not maxed I’m pretty sure it would take approximately 25-30 days do I move on?

I think the best way is to max walls,barracks,defences and just do a liitle bit of upgrading on the resources collecters and storage.

Since I war with my clan I max everything, but walls and collectors before moving on.

I have a couple of alts that I use for clan games and clan capital raids. My th10 has been maxed for a while, is there any reason I shouldn't keep upgrading it? I mainly play my th14 account and my other account is a rushed th12 that I plan to use for donos. I don't want to focus a lot of time grinding both alts, but should I at least start upgrading it rather than constantly have maxed loot storages and clan capital medals? is there any purpose to staying at th10? thanks

For me I rushed to th11 for sneaky goblins. Now th12 once heroes are max ill go up again. Im prioritizing offense over defense first, but will upgrade the important ones. I am getting my air defense to lvl 9. Have maxed inferno. Then ill upgrade the xbows. I would max heroes all the time but AQ lvl 60 costs 153k DE with gold pass. I am not gonna farm all the time just for DE when my elixir and gold is capped.

I’m gonna upgrade to thq1 and the end of the month in time for my pay check, I’m gonna buy the th11 pack with the eagle and lvl 5 warden which I find super worth it and it also cuts like 1 of wait time of my journey, but I reckon this is gonna be kind of gruelling if I want to trophy push but I probably won’t be doing that in while

Unless you are in a war clan, as soon as your main offense is done UNLESS, it's a star bonus event, as that does not stack with your TH upgrade bonus.
Again, aside for war clan where you will have bad weighting, the only real disadvantage is discrimination. A crappy TH15 is a better contributor for all other content than a maxed out TH12.

Me personally I don't upgrade until my walls are maxed for that Town Hall right now so my defenses are max but my walls aren't I still have heroes to do at 13 but I'm waiting till walls are maxed

I am th 12. Everything is maxed. Heros are close like 5 levels away. Troops tho is another story. Plan to work offensively first then work into defense. Should I going off that information. 😂

Currently on TH11. thinking of rushing to th13 after maxing out th11.

I upgrade it every time I got my lab full, so I don't waste time, always got a lower weight on wars and a higher attack level

My th11 account is slightly ahead of yours, except for the king since mine is becoming lvl 48. Walls are pretty much maxed, no buildings left, except for an Archer tower and lab is finished, only bat spell and skeleton spell is left
Honestly, th11 is really fun though, it's one of the best town halls in the game

Simple answer: max heroes, max lab, then max out buildings. Heroes and lab are most important and defenses don't always need to be maxed

Great timing. I wanted to go to TH12 but I'm not sure if this is the perfect timing. My research lab only has Clone spell left and that will be done in two days. My defenses are still upgrading, but that will be done in two weeks or less. Maxed heroes, maxed elixirs and dark elixirs, and maxed walls.
