Man the disrespect to jack Kirby and Steve ditko in this is sicking
ОтветитьEnter Summer 0f 2021 The same 5 cent comic books ? worth thousands. Sounds like the comic book guy hustled Rick and Chum and is going to get a great deal on 2100 Comics.
ОтветитьRicks a lot fairer than Les Gold
Ответитьseems like Chumlee went from not caring about comic books to a couple of months later he was an expert and loved them. You can tell cuz he's the same weight.
ОтветитьNGL, but Corey made a blunt move into not getting comic books signed by Stan Lee, along with the sketches of Spiderman. Sure, Stan Lee is “common” at big events, but they should’ve known he didn’t have much time to stay on this Earth, so, it was a big deal to get his signature. Now that the legend’s forever gone, these items are now worth way more than before.
ОтветитьHow come Rick, Chumlee seem to know so much about the history of items that come into the shop? Or it a scripted production
ОтветитьStupid pin.
ОтветитьAt 5 cents each. That's 10k
ОтветитьThey left us hanging on the Avenger #1 and Giant Sized Xmen #1.
ОтветитьI got the first intor to spoderman. So i toool it to a pawn shop and chum li . Lololol
ОтветитьFor all the setup they've done for Chum being the nerdy comic book and card collecting guy, and with his experience on camera for so many years, he seems insanely nervous in front of Stan Lee. Maybe he's just star struck or something, but he stands there so awkwardly, basically yells everything, hops from foot to foot while glancing at the cameras, he holds this awkwardly long eye contact that Stan can't help but uncomfortably look away from... Poor guy seems so anxious.
ОтветитьNever understood why Rick said 4600 isn't a limited edition to the blockbuster spidey display....its limited to 4600...which makes it a limited edition
Ответитьrip stan, rip romita
ОтветитьThe guy touching the Hulk comics isn't even wearing cotton gloves WTF!? 😱
ОтветитьThat x force comic that chumlee liked, i got on Amazon for like $10-20
ОтветитьYou’d think that seller dude would’ve been happier to meet Stan lee rather than sell one of his comic strips to a pawn shop
ОтветитьYeah Blade saved Marvel.
Ответитьmuk
ОтветитьWho cares that Stan signed it, John Romita's signature is on that
ОтветитьStan Lee was never close to broke. His annual salary, even after retiring from Marvel in the 1990s was $1 million. I can't imagine him ever doing personal appearances for a mere $1,000.
ОтветитьGeez... Most of these are Spider-Man
Ответитьthor comic book owner def should have been like 50k or nothing you will DEF find someone to buy that prob for more than 60k
ОтветитьThat Dennis the menace guy is wearing bowling shoes
ОтветитьPawn Stars motto "I hope they never hear about eBay."
Ответить"Everybody loves Dennis the menace. Hes a young boy named Dennis"
Cmon Chum 😂😂
bet these sellers are kicking themselves now. RIP Stan Lee
ОтветитьI hate chumlee so much
Ответить350 is not better than selling it on the web... (pun intended)
Ответить$500?! I hope her dad is haunting her from that day on
ОтветитьExpert: "This is worth $50,000 dollars."
Seller: "I'd like $30,000 dollars."
Rick: "I'll give you $100.00 dollars. I gotta clean it....store it....display it...."
I've been to a pawn shop it's not so bad
ОтветитьThe Batman/Spider Man comic book...I said $1,000 before they even brought the expert in. Apparently I'm an expert too.
ОтветитьI love this show. I have been watching it for years. I have had a question I've been wondering for years. The experts that I can't figure out must charge for their expertise. They must be getting paid something for their expert opinions. The show doesn't ever mention that. Also, they make it out like they can call an expert quite a lot. I don't understand how they can just make a call and show up to share their expert opinions. Every expert that comes in has a life of their own and is in business for there selves. This question an opposition +
Ответитьi get huge Undertaker vibes when i see that Expert
ОтветитьBet you wish you would've bought that AF15 now dontcha?😂
Ответить😂😂😂 its funny how johnny the.toy expert is now a cgc grading and magazine expert. 😂😂
Ответитьthose sketches would fetch more money now than back then
ОтветитьMy wife and I bought an old Antebellum home and it was nice. We moved in and I went to put some stuff into the attic and that when a found a box full of old stuff. I yell for my wife to come help me get it down. ( The stair or steps leading to the attic were scary to say the least. We found a couple of old comic books at the bottom of the box.
When I was looking at them my wife says to me, hey babe look at this Superman comic. I could not believe what I was looking and and touching. It was not in good shape, but I didn't care. I sent it off to PSA to get graded and after about 6 months I got it back in the mail. On the outside package, they apologized for taking so long, they said there's all on going and hope they like the case. I rip open the envelope and see what it graded as. Like I said before, it was in pretty bad shape. It graded a very nice 2.5 out of 10, with 10 being the best and 1 the worst. That would still put this comic at around $20k to $70 at a good auction. The comic book was the very first and 1 and old Action Comics #1 Superman.
My son that was 8 at the time, he told me that he wanted to read it and couldn't find away to open the plastic. So he asked his mother if she knew where the hammer was? She told him and my wife was on the phone and just wanted him to go away. He busted that case!!! He said that he opened the first page and whe ever he did, the cover came off.
Man I was so mad at him but glad at the Sametime. I said well it is worthless now, so let's go read it. I hadn't read the comic book yet but it was well worth. We sat on the livingroom floor taking turns reading. Like he would be Superman and I got the villins. Lol. That was a sad day when I got home and it turned into one of the best nights I've ever had with my kids.
If I got these comic books I wouldn’t sell it these are my childhood heroes
ОтветитьLesson don't leave your collections to your family.. all the time and energy you put in in life and they sell it the minute your cold lol SMH
ОтветитьSteve looks like the undertaker, he should cos play or get payed for loling like him
ОтветитьHopefully, the expert appraising Avengers #1 and X-men #1 used gloves.
