i always listen to this song when I'm sitting at the airport leaving for school again
ОтветитьI’m sure the graveyard part was meant to be taken literally, but I can’t help but think that he’s also alluding to the people that are never going to leave Strafford, and will settle for good enough. And when he talks about how their arms are extended, it’s like they calling out to him, telling him to come back, that it’s more comfortable and safe to settle for mediocre. Come die here with us
ОтветитьSo my mom passed almost a year ago and thos just reminds me of the good and bad times and more than anything it reminds me that these experiences are what has changed me and made me a better person and that the small town we lived in holds so many of those memories and as much as I want to leave them behind I always find myself going back
ОтветитьI liked this song because it talked about traveling
ОтветитьCan someone please tell me what the people say in the spoken interlude? I'm not a native speaker so it's difficult for me to understand with the music in the background - but I feel like I'm missing something without it 🙏🙏
Ответить"life is strange" vibes so much
Ответитьque pedrada!
ОтветитьI do not understand how Noah is able to capture such emotion in music and lyrics. I was sitting on top of my car in the middle of a field in a tiny town, looking up at the incredible stars. This song hit so hard. A true masterpiece...
ОтветитьI only knew you because of stick season, not knowing that there's this whole album that encapsulate what I currently feel. Making me feel alive, wanting me to reconsider things and breathing again. Thank you, you've done me good Noah. For a stranger like me, you've moved me as if I am a best friend.
ОтветитьI'm just numb to so many things. I've been through hell and back. But I'm still standing. We can all get through the tough times in our lives, get back up one more time than you fallen.
ОтветитьThis makes me feel a feeling I have never felt before, a great loss and remorse but happiness and good will. This is one of the best songs of all time
ОтветитьWell fuck this should be on the album
Ответить❤❤❤❤
Ответитьthis song just hit me this morning... starting my 4am day in the big city I live in now, I grew up small town and some of the lyrics just hit me today, I grew up just wanting to get out and now I just sit here thinking about my life there, everything I went through. I bawled at "the death of my dog" because that hurt, but it's more than that in the sense that I always felt that was when my childhood died. but dam, I wouldn't trade anything for it. im here today and im happy. the bittersweet feeling he sings about just spoke to my soul this morning.
thank you Noah, healing part of my kid self. for healing those ghosts ive left there
Really, some of us wish that we would have the chance to leave the home we had once, but at the end of the tunnel, we will see ourselves missing every bit of it. The constant touch, laughs, and smiles say it all out, echoing deep inside us. If ever you stumble upon the home you never want to come back, think that you had survived, think that it is okay to look at it again, but never, never let you suffer again. Go against fate, go against your plan, and go against what people tell you to do. There's nothing wrong with choosing the path where you really want; it is not about them, it is about you.
ОтветитьWhat an emotional masterpiece. This WILL be my ending song for my upcoming marathon - 3rd person experience movie moment as I cross that line.
ОтветитьJust listened to this version for the first time this morning and I can’t stop WEEPING. I took off from my small town as soon as I could and never looked back, but this song makes me realize why generations ago, my family decided to build a life there. They did it for me. I wish I could love it there the way they did ❤
ОтветитьWow! what a great song!
ОтветитьLove this<333 the feeling of nostalgic
ОтветитьIf you would have told me when I started listening to this album on my way to McDonald’s that I would be crying on the way home I would’ve called you a liar
Ответитьi love this song pls
ОтветитьGoosebumps 😔
Ответитьwow amazing song man. I got goosebumps
ОтветитьLove this so song much ❤
Ответитьnoah ur paying for my therapy
ОтветитьI discovered this song because of those quotes in tiktok so I searched for it and it was one of the best thing I did this year. This song makes me wanna scream the outro on top of the hill. The way it tugs at my heart everytime I listen to this is unexplainable. Thank you for making this song.
ОтветитьHope they do an interview on the voices featured in this version. Or can someone explain who they are? The old lady talks about never wanting to be a city girl and the old man talks about Stafford back then.
Ответитьi still live in the small town i grew up in and i’m constantly reminded of how much has changed since i was a kid. this past summer my childhood dog of 15 years passed away, it was a difficult reminder again of change and how much older i’ve gotten. this town will always be home no matter how much has changed and who/what i’ve lost.
ОтветитьHi Noah, just meet you! What a beautiful song mate! Wonderful! though there's NO WAY this song isn't about Remus Lupin!
ОтветитьAll of this. Every single lyric.
ОтветитьBawled my eyes out listening to this! Listening to him describe this place I know so well, and evoke many of the feelings I feel when I go back. The part with the voices really got me because as they’re speaking I can see their faces.
You really can’t go home again!
this song is so remus lupin coded it hurts
Ответитьمشكلتها انها بتخلص
ОтветитьThere's a bridge literally half a km from where I grew up. Our dog passed away in a house fire when I was a teenager. We rebuilt, but it never felt like "home". I live 2 hours away now and going back always tears me apart. It has lots of memories, but what's there now?
ОтветитьThis song makes me feel homesick
Ответитьthis sounds amazing
ОтветитьI love you so much
ОтветитьI finished the CO 14ers today. I fell In love with mountains and hiking and so I began a four year long journey. Every weekend, every vacation for four years. I fell in love on those mountains, and gained and lost friends. Got sober and became comfortable in my own skin. I learned forgiveness I saw amazing things. I learned integrity. This songs reminds me of the first time I climbed and found my dreams again. Just me and the curve of the valley. There was meaning on the earth and I am happy and at peace. But I’m over the hill. Heading for home but I feel so far from it. The death of my loved one, the freckles on my face. The things I lost here and the people I knew.
Ответить"THERE IS MEANING ON EARTH AND I AM HAPPY"
OHHH HOW I AM SOBBING 🤧😭😭😭😭
This... is why I needed to leave my home town...
ОтветитьThis song is so Marauders era/autumn coded.
ОтветитьBeautiful song 🥲
ОтветитьThis song feels like a refreshing breath of cold air on an autumn afternoon
Ответитьkeyen
ОтветитьI'm honest, i discovered you through Dial Drunk because of Post Malone.
I kept listening, and i'm here to stay.
You're awesome. <3

Ответитьnoah always makes me feel amaze. his music really goes beyond in my mood and the transition of the beat always give me a thrill. every song he created is a piece and i didn't regret to meet this artist, for he never fails to give me comfort with his songs, a truly kind of relaxation.
