Thank you so much. I wasn't sure what to expect - WOW! I'm adding this to my project list 😀
ОтветитьCool idea! So many possibilities!
ОтветитьKia Ora you could photocopy them...
ОтветитьHello! thanks so much for amazing tutorial.
ОтветитьI love this technique. Im scanning mina nd adding color. You are amazing for sharing all this experimental art.
ОтветитьHello from British Columbia Canada
🖐👍❤🌳🚐🌲🤳🏞🌍🎠🎪🧜♀️💜💙
love this!!!
ОтветитьIncredible channel
ОтветитьHi Froyle - excellent video. I tried using newer mags (not Nat Geos) and it didnt work really. Then I found an old Nat Geo which I also tried, and it worked better, but still nowehre to the effect of yours. Waited 40min. Should I keep trying with other Nat Geos? Used a spray bottle and got none of the cell-like structures that you were able to produce either. I made sure to use Concentrated Citra Solv
ОтветитьAmazon Canada has it.
ОтветитьThis was awesome! THANK YOU so much for sharing this with us. I get Nat Geo magazines for 10 cents a piece at my local library, which I have been using for collage material. You have just broadened my horizons immensely!
ОтветитьJust tried this Froyle...so fun! and I had great results thanks to your tutorial. thanks so much, Barbara
ОтветитьWill this work with any other magazine or maybe a coffee table book??
ОтветитьCan you tell me where I get vitriol in NZ - I keep ruining into blank stares?
Ответитьthank you for this wonderful video!
Is National Geographic the only magazine that works?
Thanks for sharing. Does it only work with National Geographic magazines? I tried it with Gardners' World mag and....zilch! Nada! 😊Is it specific to Nat Geo inks used?
So far nothing's happened with the National Geographic either but I'll keep trying. Any suggestions?
I have done this process in the past, and I love the results. There are so many copycat citrus cleaners, that now it's difficult to find Citra Solv. I guess I'll be buying it online going forward.
ОтветитьJust discovered you! Love your enthusiasm & upbeat presentation. Looking forward to giving citri solve a go! I think I can get NG at our local library in the used book department!
ОтветитьI love your videos! You're a great teacher! This video I found particularly intriguing. I've ordered the Citra-Solv from Amazon, but I don't have any National Geographics. I DO have a boat load of Gourmet magazines that contain very colorful pages. Can I use those? Or is there something special about the Nat'l. Geos that make them work so well? Thanks.
ОтветитьYou are amazing for sure!
ОтветитьThis is awesome !! I have one too. Take my faves to the self-copy shop & make prints on card-stock, experimenting with the various settings. . I make minatures & when the designs are reduced to tiny they are amazing. Thank you ! and also to Toronto from Quebec.
ОтветитьThis is fab! I’ve tried to get it in Ireland and yes the shipping costs more to here too. Thanks! For the freebie
ОтветитьI cant wait to try this, so beautiful. Will the chemicals eventually ruin the art though?
ОтветитьCitra Solv: Do we follow the instructions for adding water or do you spray full strength from the bottle? Terrific idea. Terribly hard to find this product from where I live. Is there another product out there that will work ? Just curious has anyone experimented? Thank you so much
ОтветитьI'm a fiber artist. These are AWESOME. Want to incorporate these papers with fabric somehow. Thanks for sharing this process.
ОтветитьOkay, I love this technique. Another demo shows spritzing...which might work if you don't mind text and identifiable pictures. The above, applied with a brush, creates great pages! Just realize this is incredibly messy, and you'll probably be drying more pages than you have room for. Wear gloves -- it washes off your hands, but your fingernails will look as if you have the black death. Although Citrisolv in "natural", everyone insists, so was Mustard Gas from WWI, and it was deadly. Do this in an area with a lot of ventilation! (I finally moving my efforts outside because I was starting to taste the stuff in my mouth...and no, I wasn't eating it.) You'll probably see lots of black, gray, but also some lovely pinks and blues, but the picture you start with is no guarantee. As I don't have a space that can get filthy, I'm using old cardboard boxes and cheap packing paper to put on every surface...still no guarantees. You'll also smear your image if you're not careful where you put your fingers. Whatever happens, you'll still probably get usable areas, and since I'm doing greeting cards, not collages, I'm quite happy!
ОтветитьNo seu vídeo eu gostaria de saber se na água você utilizou alguma coisa 👏👏👏perfeito gostei
ОтветитьThis is such an interesting technique, and you made such gorgeous collages with the results. So generous and thoughtful of you to make downloadable images for those who cannot get the CitraSolv. You chose the most beautiful images! Always fun watching you, Froyle!
ОтветитьThese are issues from 2020
ОтветитьThey are beautiful thank you🥰
ОтветитьWonderful demonstration! Thanks much😊
ОтветитьLove this technique
ОтветитьThis is so beautiful! I'm in Australia, have you tried Orange Spot & Goo Remover? Before I buy it and try it, I thought I'd better ask you in case you've already tried it. It's available from Woolworths and Coles.
ОтветитьLove this idea! Am sure going to try it! New subbie! 🤗
ОтветитьCan you copy these? I mean they have been altered beyond recognition of the original
ОтветитьThis is the 2nd or third time I watched this and have seen others do this but yours came out wow. Just love them as I do all your videos. You are so much fun. I love that kind of bubble or cell effect, I call it because I don’t have another word for it. Did you notice a difference in that between the spray effect and using the paintbrush? And that is so kind of you to give us a freebie on this.I am in love with the 42 and the red pages, love the soft colored ones also
ОтветитьI tried this and it didn’t work at all. I was so disappointed. Could it be the kind of paper? I was using National Geographic’s.
ОтветитьWhat a fun technique. Your pages came out beautifully! Wow! Is National Geographic the only magazine that will work for this technique? And is Citrasol the only degreaser that will work?
ОтветитьOh wow, what a neat technique! 🥰
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ответитьyou are awesome
ОтветитьI’m in the UK,is there anything I can use instead?
ОтветитьI like your spray technique
ОтветитьHad any copyright issues?
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. Really want to try it but I’m in Australia so will have to do some research ❤❤❤
ОтветитьI'm just learning collage and I'm fascinated about the various ways to create your papers 😊
ОтветитьHi I’ve got gmags from 1990 and 1991. Using the citrasolv concentrate and no joy at all. What am I doing wrong? Brushed it, sprayed it, let it sit for an hr. Nothing. Any suggestions welcome
ОтветитьOmg these are all so beautiful
ОтветитьWow i need to do this, need to find an equivalent cause we do not have this product here in Quebec canada. Thanks!
