I need some help I installed a custom kernel on Moto g4 plus and it's having trouble finding internet

How can I make my stock kernel use external wifi usb for monitor mode?

omg. how is it this much information to take in.. Honestly, I don't need any of this. I wanna go to iPhone. I don't need any of these things & I'm not really someone who needs to customize everything, but rather have anything work reliably & without me having to fiddle around with or worry about it. I want to perceive the luxury of not needing to worry about it & having it just work. Having an old android phone sucks; you don't get any support from the manufacturer etc. & switching to a custom ROM is a tone of work + you don't really get anything out of it. I'd rather just lose a couple of features but then be able to "stay dumb" or whatever. :3 :)
