My rear seats fold flat 😂😂 had my RS as my daily for 5 years still loving it
Ответитьrear seats don't fold flat 😮
ОтветитьIf you like sucking coolant the hell yeah its doing great!
ОтветитьNo!!!! Those engines are the shittiest you could ever get.
Ответитьthere's always that guy "we can still add more spice and sauce to this"
ОтветитьThat’s why my special edition has the bucket seats. Way better than the recaros
ОтветитьThe biggest problem is that I can buy a used Tesla Model S for less money.
ОтветитьPicking mine up Aug 3rd. Can't wait.
ОтветитьMy car blew a head gasket just outside of the warranty, ford covered it though but I sold it a few years later just in case it happened again.
ОтветитьDozens of kids? Not a dozen, but multiple dozens? So at least 24 (26 if he's a baker) kids. Fascinating.
Also, those spaces next to the back seat catch dropped phones and pocket stuff that falls during turns.
As a RS owner for a month, I say YES! Already have a stage 2 kit pushing 28 PSI, 400 ish HP and 420 FPT. Now I have to upgrade the clutch to stage 2 because stock cannot handle it.
ОтветитьThese look and perform very nicely, but for the price, I'd rather get the Mustang GT and mod it. But I've ALWAYS admired the RS and STs
Ответить"Only Fans style leg spread" had me rolling!
ОтветитьMy ST was totalled due to a young lady not looking left while I was going 50mph (speed limit). She just pulled out of her stop sign (Ididnr have one) and there was nothing I could do.
I might get an RS but I'm not sure that the extra 15000$US is worth it. If I can find a nicely taken care of grey, I might have to pull the trigger.
Limited edition 2018 is nothing special over 2016-17. Nothing.
Ответить168k km $31k. Buy it?
ОтветитьSo I’ve had my 2016 RS for just over 4 years and so far this is what has gone wrong:
1. Head gasket recall, they ended up replacing the headers at 10K miles.
2. Power brake booster went out, out of nowhere at 30K miles while I was doing 90mph on a freeway off-ramp! Thank god there was no traffic either waiting or going through the light at the end of the ramp!
3. Broke 2 different exhaust brackets, the exhaust separated from the down pipe and the second one I nearly lost the muffler both at or around 40K miles.
4. Bent a couple rods and warped a cylinder at 55K miles and got a complete engine swap, long block, with 5K miles left on the warranty! Thanks for the new engine Ford!
And still, by far, my favorite car I’ve ever owned and a pure joy every time I get behind the wheel!
I regret selling this car badly, and mine had ugly seats. 😂
ОтветитьHold on to your RS and take very good care of it. This car will be worth big money one day. Collector car.
ОтветитьJust bought one (2017) with only 1,300 miles on it, always drive with a smile :)
ОтветитьI want an RS so bad. I'm starting a new job soon so it just might happen
ОтветитьJust bought one and collecting mine on Tuesday 😎 It feels like my birthday and Christmas rolled into one
ОтветитьLooking at buying one right now over in the states. It's really interesting seeing the opinion of someone over in an different part of the world since the RS is no longer being manufactured here. I've been in love with the RS since we got it over here and they have finally come down to a reasonable price. Hoping for the best in locating one that hasn't been totally trashed like the I've seen with US STs and of course the Subaru scene. Loved the video and thanks for your insight! 🤘🏻
ОтветитьMust compare it to RTX 4090 because of a bumper and must convince yourself - you aren't worthy just for short home - work trips. Wraping it with nothing else, but Warcraft Orcs Livery is not popular at least not here.
ОтветитьNice vid! I absolutely love my 2018 RS limited edition in the US in Race Red. I waited till the mark-up pricing came down and got it new. I got paint protection film on entire front end, side mirrors, skirts and ceramic coating on the rest. I've 39k miles on it and it looks and drives like new. I got the longest/best extended Ford warrantee and maintenance service plan, all of which is sellable with the car. I've kept it stock b/c, well, I don't feel the need for an upgrade in performance, and I'll keep it running awesome, maintain warrantee, and it'll be either appealing for a collector's item later on, or a clean slate for someone who'd wanna mod it up...that is, IF I ever sell it. It's my daily and I swap out rims/tires for winters living in New England and it does great in winters. It's been 100% reliable. One very small non-worrisome oil leak that was easily fixed under warrantee; that's it thus far. Yes, the ride is stiff...get over it everyone haha. The 2018s have an improved suspension but still stiff. I have no issues with the suspension! It actually is very competent but the stiffness also b/c, um, it offers higher performance and corners on rails. I test drove against the 18 Golf R, on the same day back to back, and the Golf R did not put a smile on my face and the traction control could not be turned off. The RS did put a smile on my face and the traction control can be turned off. The RS--still--puts a smile on my face :) and I still get an occasional grin and/or thumbs up from on-lookers, which is a little bit of a kick. Peace
ОтветитьThe Australian version ? Is that the one that always upside down?
ОтветитьThe space under the cup holder is not a secret compartment. It is there to accommodate taller drink containers
ОтветитьThe back seat DOES fold down flat. Pull up on the back of the seat cushions toward the front seats then fold down the back of the back seats and viola!
ОтветитьVery good review
ОтветитьHad mine about 6 weeks now, and it’s my daily driver, nothing else does it, on a twisty B road nothing can touch it
ОтветитьPerhaps the ride quality could be improved by lowering the pressures. I think Ford recommends 40 psi on each wheel. I think the tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport or Cup 2s? I have had Pilot SS's on my 'vette. Now I have have 4S's. GM recommends 30 psi. And my ride quality is excellent. Btw, I'm using non EMTs. And I'm getting over 1g on the HUD G meter.
Ответить🤣🤣🤣🤣 only fans leg spread and throwing kids in and out of the back seat 🤣..
I was close to buying a mk3 focus RS but glad I didn't.. I just wouldn't be able to afford it or the cost of running it. It would be fun but the roads here are so bad and I break the speed limit enough trying to rev the little fiesta st out.. also stuff ford and their service department, I have heard so many bad stories about them.. which is why I have never taken our fiesta st back to ford since the day I bought it brand new at the start of 2015, pay all that money and then they get some wreckless non mechanically minded first year apprentice to do their dodgy work on it and then thrash it around the block "road test" while the engine is cold.. rip off your front bumper and a side skirt or two in the process.. I see how they treat people's cars at the service department at Mazda.. and holly fk they are insane. Do the service yourself.
Dude you aren't very good at this.
Ответитьwhat’s the difference between the limited edition RS and the normal RS?
ОтветитьI need one, badly!
Ответить😂🤣
ОтветитьWould you take this car over the GR Yaris? I've heard high praise for both cars.
ОтветитьWould a Focus ST be a good cheaper alternative for those that can't afford the RS?
ОтветитьSomeone should tell him his pants are ripped
ОтветитьAbsolutely love my 2017 focus rs, it has been a dream car of mine. It's my only car and gets daily driven at least 20k miles per year on bad salty roads, through snowstorms, on-track events, and drifting in parking lots. The car has remained reliable through all of it.
ОтветитьWould love a ReDriven on the non-RS Ford Focus!
ОтветитьThe back folds flat but you have to fold the back seats first 😉
ОтветитьHad mine 2.5 years running 420bhp, love every bit, amazing on the track! Have fitted a lowering kit for the seat and a whole bunch of mods
Ответитьnice video. mine is a 2017 that i took delivery in jan 2017. waited 13 months on a pre-order. have since put 90k+ miles, so it is not a low mileage kit now. MPG across all types of driving is a cumulative 25. a dream to drive everyday. it begs to be driven.
ОтветитьUsed cost more then new, what a fucked world we live in….
ОтветитьFocus RS is my dream car
ОтветитьAs far as MPGs goes..... it’s not good.... If I’m just casually driving mine around town, from light to light, it will suffer in that 16-18mpg range. Freeways at around 68mph, best it will do is around 26mpg.... As a comparison my ST was around 24-25mpg city & 35mpg freeway.
ОтветитьYes yes yes!!!
ОтветитьLooks so boring and it's a ford.Sorry but the civic it is fore or even the i30n.
