- receive security updates for at least 4 years

I won't be buying any more Samsung phones consciously as a business/family being considered royalty due to wealth does not sit right with me.

The only two problems I have of my s23 ultra is too thick and too heavy, not really comfortable for hand-held use for gaming and watching. I like my note 20 ultra. It's lighter, not too wide, and it's slim, really comfortable for hours hand-held use

The s23Ultra is the only phone that fullfils my needs, just because the S-pen, as illustrator sometimes i just create logos or illustrations right in front of my customers with clip studio paint , its soooo relialable that even tho there are more powerful phones out there, I just cant conceive now a phone without a s-pen,It is the first time I make money using a phone Only I would go for Fold if its needed. Even I sculpt in 3D with "Nomad Sculpt" and send my models to the 3D dev department in my company to integrate them in Unreal Engine 5. Come on!
Damn, its just crazy to have such a powerhouse right in the palm of your hand and being able to get your work done wherever you are. Plus great videos in 8k for flamenco performances here in Japan, people cant believe i recorded them with the damn phone, later, I edit the videos in premiere and they looks like i recorded them with my sony alpha video camera. People are not aware of the true potential of this phone. They just play around with terms like SD 8Gen2, battery and beautiful display, that is just scratching the surface!

Why is wireless charging a selling point though? Does it preserve battery life better?

One plus and Oppo has one of the best fast charging tech.

Bypass charging is just insane to have for a person who games a lot on their phone, just get rid of all that extra heating which is super bad for battery health

Pixel 7 is too heavy and mine smashed after my son got his hands on it.
Got me a 7a now it is so much better. Bit lighter slightly smaller in the hand and it can be dropped by my son without damaging it. I will always go for the A range going forward.

Meanwhile, i still use my LG Velvet 5g and i'm fine. I just can't believe people choosing a phone because " it looks good, it feels good...." I mean, what purpose does it serve, concretely? Spending more than a thousand dollars when your phone is still working, it's a mentality i don't understand. I wish there was more contentment with what people have, knowing what all that useless consumption is leading to in our society! It's not because something is new and pretty that you have to get it. Right? When i want to buy something, i ask myself " Do i really need it, or is it just something i want? "

It's impossible to compare Samsung and apple because their phones leapfrog each other every 6 months lmao. So whichever is better it's not better in 6 months time when the new version of the other comes out... I've been back and forth between Samsung and iPhone 9 times and I think I'm tired of cellphones 😂. I can't even use 10% of what the phones I get are capable of because I always get the max or Ultra because I'm a big screen fan. But at this point If the phone's got no more capable but they could just make the batteries last longer. I would be so happy because we don't need more powerful phones. We need phones that have longer battery life. The phones have gotten powerful enough. It would be dope to know that my $1500 phone can last 2 or 3 days on a single charge. That would make me feel like I'm paying for something that is well worth it instead of a phone that can just do stuff faster. But nothing that I can really notice as a user. Because between the previous models and this year's models. From day-to-day use, you cannot tell a difference in terms of performance. I mean, you can only open Instagram and run it so well or a Mobile game. The phones are just so good now they're all pretty overpowered. I just wish they would focus more on efficiency and battery life more. Because that's genuinely something everyone can appreciate. No matter what type of user you are.

Reviewers are full of shit though. I have mi 11 ultra and it 💩 all over the s23 ultra and it's years older. Camera is way ahead, screen sharper, audio a lot better, runs better etc. Chinese phones are already far better than the Samsungs. iPhones are still their own thing and again, way better than Samsung

The S23 Ultra, in my opinion, is the king of android smartphones this year, is the phone that can run them all. In present i have an iPhone 13(not the Pro) and i want to switch to S23 Ultra, i hope in the near future and keep it for some years. The software support now is better than all times for Samsung, is very similar with what Apple offers, and i want to have an phone that can do more things…let’s not forget the Dex….that is absolutely insane and it evolved a lot! This phone is like a all in one laptop that can fit in your pocket, you can use it like a phone and if you want, you can make it like an desktop with just a cable or even wireless! For me this is pretty crazy and i just want it!😂
