Why You Won't Buy Galaxy Z Fold 7

Im not get it because it costs so much...

Is it a hot take that a punch out would be a deal breaker for me? I dead never use the camera on the big screen and giving up part of my screen to improve it would be a hell no.

I've had the Z Fold 5 since launch. I've dropped it more times than I can count. The question about durability needs to stop. I'm skipping the S25 Ultra to upgrade to the Fold 7 because of it's rumored large outer display and better cameras

Yes...you should have some habit of careing .... Folds are nothing to throw in corners...or take to beach and throw it in the sand.
After 4 years i killed my fold 2 in the toilet by not taking it out of my jeans before😢Now...i am pretty happy with fold 5 but very little improved compared to z fold 2. In a way boring.

It's price, durability, cameras and actual risk of cost to repair are all things I heard. But price is definitely the killer. The more affordable the more it gets into people hands the more they used to it the more they desire it

Anyone remember when the Note came out? "Phablet" lol. People were like it's too big! No one uses the stylus! Price wasn't a barrier. It got into people's hands. They got used to it.

I'm a fold 4 user. Bought 2nd hand and loved it till it bugged oit. Got an ultra and skipped the 5. Traded in ultra to buy fold 6 and love the 6. Only reason I got it was because insane discounts thru carrier. Basically got it for $1080 CDN at launch. About 800 USD. I use stylus more on Fold than on Ultra and wish outer screen had Spen support.

Love the form factor tho. Outer screen one handed use and when needed amazing full screen use.

Can't wait for the Z Fold 7 I've seen so many videos about it... I almost bought the Z Fold 6 but the 7 is right around the corner... I never had a Fold Phone before. The Z 7 Fold will be my first fold Phone . Love the videos 👍😉

I might come back to Samsung after 3 years being away

Just buy an Honor V3 and relax like I am doing for 2 weeks now...

Main things for me is front screen but if you are spending that sort of money you want good camera battery life

I'm likely getting the Z Fold 7 just for the wow factor of a folding phone.
As long as the cover screen isn't too narrow. Also, it needs S Pen support because I use my fold everyday for drawing.

Price and not getting the same cameras as the ultra

Ive had the fold 3,4,5 and now 6 but if they dont make the outside screen the same size as the SE im not buying the 7. Also they need to majorly upgrade all the cameras especially zoom, if it can't compete or beat the vivo x fold 3 pro im out.

since the fold 6 got slimmer squarer thinner and a tad wider i have dropped it more tha my fold 5. and at least 2 or 3 times i thought the inner screen or outer screen broke, as i have dropped it open and closed. but nothing not even a mark. and that is from standing height.

please keep the under display camera. it has so many cameras that yes could be a little better. but i like no holes on the big display. you can use the 3 main cameras as selfies if to want.

Simply not worth the MONEY!

I buy big folding phones because I am visually impaired and need the big screen. The triple tap zoom accessibility feature is literally a life saver.

I got the 9 pro xl for free though my carrier as long as I stay in the line......but I cane from my z fold 4 which I love still......but the PIXEL. Mmmmmm😊

I'll be getting the TriFold 7 or 8. SupCase works great for S pen.

I will get the 7 depending on what I get for my fully paid for fold 6

I want the fold 6 but i honestly don't want to buy a 1500 euro phone just to replace it in 3 years so i'm prob gonna stick with the regular s models for a while

Narrow outer display kills me, when it gets as big as a regular phone I will switch.

Good video, but I've had a foldable since 2019. I use both a foldable and a slab phone. Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 is an amazing phone. Micro s.d card support up to 2TB, headphone jack, big beautiful 6.7 inch P OLED display, in display finger print scanner, nice feeling leather like back, good cameras, built in stylus, 30w fast charging, 15w rast wireless charging, smart connect "works just like samsung dex", all for a fair price tag.

S21ultra selfie camera is 40mp. Why s23.24.25ultra can only have 12mp

I bought the Z fold 5 when it launched, have used it every day at work and at home, it still looks brand new, a good case, and some common sense goes a long way. I bought the fold 5 upgrading from a Note 20 and have never been disappointed with it.

The zfold 6 se while its wider is still on the narrow side, and it's not as wide as a traditional candy bar phone. They need to stop making the phone silm and deliver. I don't want the spen as a separate accessory, and I don't want then to compromise on the battery size or best camera setup. I'm ready to compromise slimness over these thing's.

I will NOT buy a fold 7 , I have a fold 6

On a fold 4...had 2 x hinge and inside screen replacements but....ill also never go back to traditional style handset.....bigger screens please sammy!!

Yeah I've had folding phones since the z fold 2 and I don't think I could ever go back. I did love my pixel 8 pro tho but Pixel 9 pro fold is awesome and pixel fold og is also awesome..

I am going to buy whatever I want to buy. Do better.

If the fold 7 is like the fold 6se or a little bigger im switching to fold 7 if not thenWill wait till we see fold 8

Have the fold 4, less than a year inner screen just broke, was still under warranty so got it replaced. Now seeing the screen protector lifting off again, which is what happened before it broke last time. Love the bigger screen but torn about getting another one as opposed to the S25.

All great points...still never going back to a slab. The experience with this Fold 5 has been that great for me.

I had every Samsung folding phone from the beginning up through the Fold 6... When Samsung didn't really make the 7 as wide as it needs to be, can't take how narrow it is. I switched to the Google 9 Pro Fold and like how wide it is. Can't really go to a folding phone that's any narrower than the Google fold. I had the Mate XT for a few months and loved it, but since they don't have a Global version, wasn't really functional/usable. Tri-fold/3-screens are awesome! Would love an XT global. If Samsung makes a fold that's at least as wide as the Google fold that's as tall as the Samsung fold, Samsung will be the clear king-of-the-hill again.

I've have the Flip 6 as well as the Fold 6. Fiip 6 is by far the best phone for everyday use. Samsung is really doing a disservice by not promoting this phone more. I also had the Flip 5, but they have damn near perfected the hinge on the Flip 6. Sometimes, I go the whole day without even closing it.

I have owned my Fold 4 for just over 2 years and I won't go back to a non-fold phone.

The fact that videos are the same size as a regular phone is rather off putting

I won't be buying the Fold 7 phone. I had the Fold 4, skipped the Fold 5, got theFold 6 and now its has green and purple line across the inside cover. So far the Flip 6 turned out to be a better folding phone.

I have the 5 and 6 but definitely wont be getting a 7. Not because i dont like the phone. They are not upgrading enough to do so.
