Just saw Foo Fighters live. They’re whats left of Nirvana. I was born 4 years after Cobain’s pass. Dave is so talented and carries Kurt’s legacy.
At the concert, yo dude I swear, there was an interlude similar to Drain You’s interlude and it felt like i was watching a live Nirvana concert, at least the remnants. Pat Smear with his smiling face as I would be the only youngster trying to rock out and mosh like its a small punk venue. Dave gave the gym bros next to me a shoutout, that the gym bros should kiss.

I get tired of hearing people say Kurt never wanted to be a huge rock star. Yes he absolutely did. He never would have done any of the things he did if he didn’t want to be. He had full control over his music and his decisions on what to do with it. If he didn’t want Nevermind to be a mainstream success he wouldn’t have allowed Butch to do what he did with it. The notion that he never wanted any of it is absurd. It’s just an excuse people use to cope with a dumb choice he made while he was high out of his mind.
