Mountains should be S-tier. There are LOTS of Reapers there. Lost River isnt that scary either.

I think the mountains should be placed higher on the tear list

Grand reef is 100% safe(crabsquids are ez) if you dont go past the lost river entrance
Lost river and lava zones are not scary at all because no thalassophobia
Sea treader's path is the scariest because i really thought its the void

This might just be me, but after you get over the initial terror, there's something oddly peaceful about the void, until of course you see the ghost leviathans coming at you

I don't think crash zone is that scary. I would put it to b probly.

AND WHY DON'T YOU PUT VOID TO S+

The Safe Shallow Caves should be a category of their own, and definitely belong in S tier.
Stupid explody fish

One of my favorite feelings of anxiety is when you’re going to the grand reef. Overshoot to the left, and you’re being the aurora. Overshoot to the right and you’re in the dunes. Overshoot slightly too far back and you’re in the dead zone.

And finally, if you do the trick of going to the floating island and then going straight down, you have absolutely no indicator of what is beneath you. You have to trust your judgment while descending 500m into an absolute void.

Once i explored the mushroom forest and then went out of it, i didnt notice that the next biome was the dunes, and i didnt hear anything from the distance. Until a reaper got me. That was my scariest second of my life😂

How did you end up with the mountains and the jellyshroom caves in the same tier lol?

Edit: how did you end up with the dunes and crash zone two tiers above them??? The mountains only has one less reaper than the dunes!

I went through a lot of comments and I'm surprised because I have the impression that I'm the only on to actually enjoy the pink jellyshroom cave. If you glide on the sides of the cave and avoid the crabsnakes, you can just enjoy the dreamy atmosphere and discover new stuff about the Degasi or find rare material. At first I admit it was a bit scary because I could never find a way out, but now I definitely enjoy going back there, while there are other biomes I will always avoid... Can anyone relate?

I would honestly give the shallows and the islands an honorable spot in F-Tier. They are like the only areas you can completely relax in.

I was in the underwater islands, got attacked by a bunch of bone sharks, with my prawn suit I brutally beat up 6 bone sharks before going to repair

I know this kind of random but do you know how to get items into base like placing glass on a desk or a plasteel ingot on the ground of your base?

For crabsnakes, I don't think they attack so much about territory, but rather that they're ambush predators. They evolved to be the perfect size, shape, and color to blend in with the jelly shrooms, and go into their little donut hole, to ambush any potential prey.
However, I believe they also have a symbiotic relationship with the jelly shrooms as they also seem to be able to protect them from possible parasites, that's more my personal thoughts though.
