Great video Colin but when I do this the centre of the flower stays as a square and doesn't change to a circle? Also when trying to change the colour say to red it only shows as pink and not true colour, can you please help.
ОтветитьThank you so much. I've been struggling to do this - the only question I have it that there is a slight hue of the original color - how can I get rid of that? I've tried doing the highlight with the plus or minus but it's still there.....thanks for any help you can give me!!!
ОтветитьThank you for making that easier
ОтветитьThank you Colin. I truly enjoy your instructional technique. Your highly effective use of examples underscored with clear explanations and never leaving one in the 'dust' with a flurry of behind-the-scenes keystrokes, i.e. you explain what you are doing step by step. The biggest challenge I have with Photoshop is there are so many ways to do the same thing compounded with the reality that if one misses one 'click' or 'selection' then it doesn't work. You help develop solid foundational workflows with your explanations so the requisite habits for success get built in. Thank you
ОтветитьGreat video Colin. I had forgotten how to change colors so this was a good, quick reminder. I love the short videos
ОтветитьChur Bro
Googled everywhere to find this. Object is the key word obviously in searching for this. I have a B&W image taken of someone on Remberance Day or Anzac Day perhaps wearing a poppy flower, which I want to change from grey to red. I think this tute will help. Thanks mate. It was very new to me for sure.
Thank you 🔥
Ответитьi luv u
ОтветитьThanks Heaps!! Was an easy and great tutorial ;)
ОтветитьThank you so much!
ОтветитьThanks for the Discover Panel tip!
ОтветитьCleanup Tip:
If you want to correct the edges of the Adjustment Layer even more... click on the black & white mask side of the adjustment layer, then choose your brush tool. It will automatically place you in a black & white color pallet - if you brush with black it will erase parts of the mask selection, if you use white it will add to the mask selection.
Super! Thanks!
ОтветитьVery helpful!
ОтветитьIf I try to change something to black color.. it makes it look like gray
ОтветитьIm new to photoshop this was helpful for my sublimation
ОтветитьSo easy to follow, thank you!!
ОтветитьMan, God bless you. The best tutorial I've come across.
Ответитьwhen I follow these directions, it colors every other layer in there, not just the one layer. help :(
ОтветитьWhat if the color you're trying to change is black: from black to a tan color?
Ответитьi want it white it dosnt work
ОтветитьI have 3 favourites Colin and you are definitely number 1 , love watching your vids

ОтветитьGreat tutorial!!
ОтветитьColin, this was such a helpful tutorial. You explanation was so concise. It was easy to follow along, and I could change the color of an object in a manner of moments. Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьNot exaclty what I was looking for. If I use the brush tool to draw something, how can I change the color of the thing I drew?
ОтветитьAbsolutely brilliant
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьHi I have used all of your tutorials in photoshop. But I can't make this one work on a white object. Do you do something different if the object is white? Thanks
ОтветитьThanks mate!
ОтветитьYou go right into layers panel and say nothing how to get to layers panel.
Ответитьanother easy to understand tutorial. Thanks again, I love how you explain things and keep things simple!!!!!!
ОтветитьDid work for me! I was changing black pants to pink on a little toddler and it turned to pants all most purple
ОтветитьThanks, it helps me alot 🤗
ОтветитьLove it!! Great tutorial!!
ОтветитьBut how do you add a totally new colour or complex like a messed up prototype that needs a uniform but real-looking colour or a vehicle that needs a camouflage paint job as opposed toa monochromatic colour change?
Ответитьfor some reason it worked but the only color I get is grey and I just want a dark black.
ОтветитьI am trying to learn photoshop but it feels very complex. I will try this option. You explained very simple to me.
Ответитьwhen I changed the blending mode from normal to color-it took away the color I chose and reverted it to the original color 😞
ОтветитьMost straightforward and easy tutorial on this effect. Other ones make it so complicated!
Ответитьwhy does this work for every colour except red? I'm trying to change the colour of product to red but it always turns out looking weird..
ОтветитьThanks you made this easy with the new tools, will take a look at your other videos now
ОтветитьCoooooooool! Working stable
ОтветитьThanks <3
ОтветитьThanks you so much, you spoke nicely, well explained, not rushing and on point, you just gained me as a new subscriber.
