Is it possible to do this exact circuit but make it triggered by the negative
ОтветитьThere are different LED Flash Relays available. 2 3 4 5 Pin and so on. Whats the difference?
ОтветитьVery good explanation 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾crystal clear
ОтветитьBro I've learn more from your video, appreciate it👍
ОтветитьWow! That cleared things up for me. Awesome videos. Saw all three about turn signals. Ready to wire up my VW beetle now. You explained it very well. Thank you.
ОтветитьWhy do my LED signal lights heat up after some use time? Because they heat up they start flashing faster. What can I do to keep them cool. I only have LED left an right signal lights on the rear of my bike. Thank you.
ОтветитьThanks! I'm wanting to set up turn signals on my 1955 Ford tractor. This will get me there!
ОтветитьSo how does this show wiring turn signals to anything , if what you adding to already has say brake/run lights on it. This doesnt show how to add turn to a system that has brake and run lights. Or are you just adding more lights on and not using the vehicles already 1157/2057/4157 that uses run and brake lights.
ОтветитьHI - Thanks very much for the clear video. I want to add Led turn signals to my old motorbike which has a 6V system. I also would rather use a group of individual leds wired into a pattern rather than a bulb. Each indicator would be made of 4 or 5 Leds, so that would be 8 or 10 per side that need to flash at once. If I copy your system do you think it will work in my situation? Cheers, Chris
ОтветитьThis video earned a sub for sure! Didn’t quite get what I was looking for out of it but the quality and how easy the info is to understand is amazing. Great job!!
ОтветитьHi i got issues changing halogen to eld the turn signal blinks both when you do either right or left and only one brke light works instead of both i don't know why
ОтветитьEven with a CANBUS system?
ОтветитьI am wanting to lay out my vintage wiring to make sure it works before I put it in my car. What do you use for your power source when you are doing these tutorials? Thank you so mucjh
ОтветитьWhat’s the best way to waterproof the relays?
ОтветитьHey I am uprading to the LED bulbs on my Vstar 1100 motorcycle. With a two pin on the flasher. Can that be done? And where do I get a relay that works?
ОтветитьWhen you say “not enough resistance”, you really mean “not enough conductance”, which is the inverse of conductance.
ОтветитьYou didn't show how to add 4 way flasher light together with turn signal light
ОтветитьAnother great video you have put out. I like the way you explain every detail of how things works and what's needed for it to work correctly.
ОтветитьThese videos are great! Thanks for your time, now I can confidently do a few projects new sub!!!
ОтветитьAnother great video
ОтветитьCould you add a third relay and a second switch to operate the bulbs as hazard lights?
ОтветитьWhere is the warning light to tell you they are switched on ?
What tells you one bulb has stopped working ?
Why didn't you wire the flasher into the feed to the switch ?
Save the extra fuse and the cable costs and time to install.
I have a question, is it possible to run LED turn signals on a old Harley Sportster with a Magneto? Or would I have to mount a mini 12 volt battery and fuse just dedicated to the LED turn signals and related LED turn signal components?
ОтветитьI am all that is man!!! I JUST MADE LED BLINKERS WORK!!!!
1970 Toyota LandCruiser complete rewire!!!
How do you do it with brake lights when the Brake and Turn signal use the same filament. Basically the tail light has two filaments- low for running light, and bright for brake/turn. Except for the front turn signals also need to flash for signaling, but not for braking. I can't figure it out without 5 relays or more so far. Considering trying to sort with Arduino, but I don't know anything about building with arduino. Thanks!
ОтветитьWhen I buy LED bulbs to replace incandescent bulbs, they sell me 2 large resistors that I am supposed to install somewhere inline to prevent hyperflash. Do the relays in your circuit eliminate the need for the large resistors?
ОтветитьIs there a way to tap into turn signal fuse / relay so I can trigger my side view camera to power up ( Honda Accord 2012 )
ОтветитьI have just installed a jegs wiring harness and fuse box. It seems to have the old skool flashers. Is there flashers that will fit in it for my LED turn signals ? Great vids by the way .
Ответитьthis video was a great teacher. thanks for uploading it for us.
ОтветитьGreat video!! Very clear! If possible would you be able to do a video on how to make a side marker light do both turn signal and running light? Thank you!
Ответитьwhat size fuses do you use
ОтветитьWould a 12v old bulbs work on a led 12v flasher
Ответитьso good, you are switched on 11/10
Ответитьawesome.
Could you give the Parts Name or Part Numbers for Relay/Flasher and Fuse please.
Really useful but what if you don't have a battery?
ОтветитьGood video. If I may ask, why you are using 1157 bulbs instead of 1156? The 1157 is a dual filament (5/25W) commonly used for tail/brake light applications, while the 1156 is a single filament (10W) and more suited as a directional (turn signal) flasher. Can you please clarify?!
ОтветитьHazard or Double signal ?
ОтветитьThis was very helpful. I followed your video and was able to wire up some turn signals on my mini bike!
Ответитьwhy does it need two relays?
ОтветитьBut, there is no clicking sound for your diagram.
ОтветитьHow would you ad a break switch to that circuit
ОтветитьWhat size of fuses and wires are those ☹️
ОтветитьWhat about a newer vehicle that has a Can-Bus system. There's no flasher relays...it's all in the computer. It's a 09 HHR.
Ответитьawesome tutorial, id love something more compact to be honest but i have a bunch of indicators so i'd have to order another set of relays and wait another 3 weeks ...
ОтветитьOk I’m building a custom Volkswagen trike & I fallowed this wiring diagram my front turn lights are working fine but my back one’s are not they are 6" Oval Amber LED Sequential Arrow Truck Bus Trailer Turn Signal Light Kits. First flash is maybe 2 arrows light then none then all 5 arrows flash, how can I fix this issue?
ОтветитьCan this be street legal?
ОтветитьI used your video instructions to install LED turn signals on my 1935 Chevrolet. Works great. Make sure the flasher relay that you use is for LED bulbs/lights, or they won't work. thanks Jeremy for a great video
Ответитьcan i email you my question about wiring?
ОтветитьI have a Suzuki GR650 Tempter and tried to convert the lights to LED. I got an LED Flasher for it, and the lights are compatible with 1056/1156. I also converted the turn signal indicator lights to 194 LED - there are two on the Tempter, one for each side. When a front and back turn signal light for one side is converted to LED, that side to stops working. If I change the front to Incandescent, that side works. If I change the indicator light to incandescent, and leave the front and back LED, nothing happens. If I change the indicator to incandescent and front to incandescent, the rear led and indicator work. The reverse is true. So the system only works if one signal light on that side is incandescent. The indicator light seems to have no impact. I suspect they are drawing energy from the switch, and not in the same loop as the turn signals like they are on other bikes. Any ideas how to get all three lights on each side to work with LEDs? One bike nerd suggested a diode on the front signal lights would fix it.? While I am at it; what is the difference between a CF13/CF14 and CF15 non-polarity Flasher? One person suggested I get a CF15 non-polarity flasher and it would fix it.
