My personal suggestion. Please repost this video ...again today.
December 13, 2022....incredible presentation by the way....when you 1st posted this video 7yrs ago. I just found it today. Into the future. Humans were not ready to see or hear the truth. Today awakening is happening and they are ready for your content...trust me Universe wants me to pass this message to the original maker of this authentic creative visual video. You may have done others they said...now is the right time to empower thought and you to profit on your contributions to the universe...sending love and blessings with this message.
P.S.: Happy New Year oh dint change a thing. Get a feel for what people think today in 2022 you can use time gap 2015-2022 to remake a video again to now put you into the future. See the time loop...

From longing, to menacing, then to joyful sorrow just by changing color and audio track.

Luckily enough i saw the comments before I saw the clip at the end so I muted the video. There is some slight difference in what I could get from each version, though the last one popping with vibrant yellows definitely made the most difference to me (happy/awake). As someone who is a student going into sound design though I'm hyper aware of the way music can totally take over the mood of a scene.

Idk why verge thought it was a good idea to put different music on when trying to illustrate comparison of the colors.

You should have left the music out in the last shots . I don't what affected my mood , the music or the colour. In fact all the colours could work in that scene

Color manipulation of an audience is overemphasized. While color can play a role if it's wrong - contradictory - music and visual aesthetics outside of color matter most. Emotionally impactful Black and White films are abundant.

no you changed the music in the scene which changes emotion in a scene as much if not more than color

The color didn't change anything in the last scene. Maybe music did a little bit, but still, they were all just somber. I'm focused on actor's expression more than anything else.

Very nice take on the color use in film. I think you should have had Matrix in here as it clearly has two versions of color depending on the world they inhabit.

And what if someone is color-blind?
Or before movie-makers could afford color technology, and so most of the productions were in black and white?
Are those who made this video trying to say that the manipulation of the public by hollywood only Just began with the ability to use color?
There are all sorts of subtle, and not so a subtle ways that those who produce media have, and still use music, lighting, dialogue and other visuals to influence the public.

Cool but lets be honest the final should had go without sound or music. That gives the direction of the emotion to feel in the complete way rather than color theory

yes they are right, however, its all the factors together; i.e. the colour, the music, the composition of the shot, editing the different shots together, etc.... however, this colour grading was not great therefore stood out more and allowed the music to have more of an effect.. colour grading is a subtle effect that most people wont realise that something has been manipulated.... this was not a good show cause it was over the top and the colour difference wasnt there as much in those two shots
