BTW. I had that crash before and reported it. So don’t stress 👍. Have a great day.
ОтветитьJust got an M1 Max MacBook Pro but even after updates etc it looks like I'm still running the Intel version of Premiere Pro & After Effects. Is there a way to download the M1 native versions?
ОтветитьButter machine! LOL
ОтветитьWill the native premier pro work on Mac OS big sur or do I need to update my Mac first?
ОтветитьI have the M1 MacBook Pro. No problem using premiere pro on that. I don’t have to import anything to my computer and I run all of that off the external SSDs.
ОтветитьI have the 16GB M1 Mac mini, and I use Premiere pro. Recently, I used it to edit a four minute project, and the playback was choppy; it also kept dropping frames or just straight up freezing on me. The scrubbing wasn’t smooth either. Even when I set it to a 1/16 playback, it would give me a lot of trouble. I wonder where I went wrong.
I used h.264 4K stock footage mixed in with some 4K footage from my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I also recorded a voiceover right in Premiere and added some background music into the sequence. I edited the voiceover audio in Premiere, so there were plenty of effects stacked on top of it. Out of laziness, I was pulling the stock footage directly out of the downloads folder, and pulled other parts straight off of the desktop. I also added a few text boxes over some clips at the beginning, middle, and end of the sequence.
Can anyone tell me where I went wrong? Are there any videos out there that explain how to optimize Premiere Pro for use with the M1 chip? I’m on the verge of selling this thing and grabbing a 16” M1 Max if there’s no solution.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Is this real? my mbp 16inch i9 cant do this
ОтветитьExactly what I needed to hear before pulling the trigger!
ОтветитьAre you using the PAID version of premiere pro??
ОтветитьHello..!! I hear that Adobe Premiere pro is not yet Optimised fro M1 Mac.. Is that true ..?? I have been working in Premiere Pro and I recently purchased M1 Mac.. Should should I upgrade to FCP..?? Or can I continue with Premiere pro..??
ОтветитьDude, I love your 'SSSTRALIN accent
lol...
How the fuck are u able to even playback your footage?? My MacBook pro 13 inch with 16gb doesn’t gives shit about the beta it’s impossible for me to edit canon Eis r6 4K files on this thing... please send help what am I doing wrong ?
ОтветитьDid you test on the 8GB or 16GB RAM version??
Is premiere pro also running fluently with 4k footage on the 8GB RAM version?

Ответитьis this 256gb version? hope you notice me thank youu
ОтветитьThats no proxies yeah?
ОтветитьI used this version on my macbook pro m1, but I got a DVAAUDIOFILTERSCAN Debug Event error message ... do you know why this appears?
ОтветитьI’ve been looking for a video like this to decide which Air version to get for a while. Thank you! Has the beta versions improved on Adobe Premiere Pro?
Ответитьhow much storage you recommend
Ответитьok so how do i get the Native M1 version????
ОтветитьIs the footage presented in timeline in H.265 or H.264 codec?
ОтветитьHow does the beta work say Premiere?
ОтветитьFinally some real world editing tests. Thanks for this.
ОтветитьWhat version is it the native for m1? Thanks
ОтветитьHey ! I’d like to buy a Macbook for my studies, and I’d like to use Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator ... without any issues.
I don’t know what version I should buy : my wallet is not really big, but i’d like to add an “extra” : should I rather take a 512 GB SSD instead of 256 (by the way I bought an extern 500 GB SSD) or 16 GB memory, instead of 8 ?
Oh and is a Macbook Air 16 GB worth it or should I take an 8 GB Macbook Pro ?
Thanks for reading !
I hope the native one comes out soon.
ОтветитьYou should have sent the report !! it's in beta. help them out please !
ОтветитьGreat video. Something people may not realize right away is that AMD and Intel are in an epic battle with each other, with AMD generally coming out on top in most, if not all scenarios. My point—M1 does not compete with these two players at all. They are in a class above the rest, hitting harder than similar Intel/AMD offerings for similar, and even more expensive units.
Great job Apple in getting back to your roots of ACTUALLY innovating. What, this is the 1st time since iPhone? Yep. But we're back to square one, where Apple shines. Goodbye dreams of owning a Surface Book or XPS!
The term "integrated graphics" will never be the same again.
ОтветитьIs any problem with 6k raw potage in premiere pro after using it for 1 month later
ОтветитьSweet just bought an M1 Pro yesterday!
ОтветитьI have the same current MacBook Air but it has problems even playing back my original 4k video shot from iPhone 12 Pro max?
ОтветитьThank youuu. This is good enough for a beginner content creator like me. I work with 1080p and for some reason I was worried about the 4k performance lol. Wth. Thank uuu.
ОтветитьIs the MacBook Air bright enough at only 400 nits?
Ответитьi'm buying this soon asap!!!!! thank you for using the 8gb version to test. everyone else is using 16gig
ОтветитьJust recently gave up on premiere. Constant crashes...render problems... freezing constantly. DaVinci all the way
ОтветитьOn M1 Macbook Air there is no option to adjust refresh rate how are you recording it without screen flickering in the camera?
ОтветитьI have the new Pro. Let me temper your expectations. Premiere does not work very well on this new laptop yet. I have severe playback issues whenever I do more intensive editing. Hopefully Adobe will add native support for the silicon soon.
ОтветитьWould love to have seen Activity Monitor
ОтветитьGot my m1 Macbook pro. Just loving it especially the battery life. I dont even care to carry a charger around. Great vid man😎
ОтветитьHow about after effects?
ОтветитьI get that people who are just planning to use the computer for general, basic tasks buying the lowest end machine. And perhaps a few “reviewers” who themselves don’t really do serious work, buying the lowest version, just to show how that cheapest model works. But if someone wants to use it for “real” work, then it’s really necessary to buy the higher end model with 16GB RAM, and a bigger drive than the 256Gb version. That 256GB drive is also much slower than the 512Gb and larger models, because that’s the way SSDs work.
I just bought the Macbook Pro with 16GB and 1TB. It works quite well, and RAM isn’t crushed.
So what even ifbu have 32 gigs of ram the performance will be the same thing
ОтветитьHolding my breath for the rumored 32 processors Mx ARM series next year.
ОтветитьHope Adobe releases After Effects soon!
Ответить@Tally Ho Tech, How well can these macs run CAD software like Fusion360 and Solidworks? And can the MacBook Air M1 handle that? Also would 8gb of ram be fine?
I want smooth as possible. Buying either today or tomorrow!! Will let people know how it goes after.
Love the videos:)!
Great performance. Love my Pro.
