Would Voldemort have considered breaking him out? Would he have been a strong ally or a threat to his rule

Book Grindelwald defended Dumbledore to his last breath. He also openly mocked Voldemort’s hubris and fear of dying, to bait his death so he wouldn’t be interrogated. He truly did not give a shit. 😂

He considers voldemort as a childish power lust...
I think he laughs because he did that when he was young with Dumbledore to the point that they both got bored with it so they went on a bigger matter....
Voldemort is powerful yeah, but for Grindelwald and Dumbledore...what the dark lord did is nothing but Tasteless BS
No wonder dumbledore never have taken him seriously, rather "Calmly" 😎

even tho its different from a book, grindelwald knew that voldy will never become the next owner of elder wand, thats why he openly tell voldy where elder wand is so voldy could experience his own failure for not knowing much about elder wand

I think Grindewald might have been more powerful than Voldemort, it took Dumbledore his brother and his sister all at once to defeat Grindewald, it’s just he was defeated earlier thus not enough time to do as much terrible things

Why people so bothered what in book or in a movie, its both fictions and are amazing of its unique ways and acting, writing etc., just enjoy it, if first was movie everyone would yell "But In A Movie it was...." whats the point of it there aint no which came first , serve . Book served only as base and no movie has to be trom the books, its not a law

Grindelwald calling him by tom and telling him about the elder wand willingly is far more believable that the book's scene... He is literally a seer....and a perfect one at that... which means he basically saw most of the future of Voldemort, knew his name and definitely knew that the wand will never be his...and he fucking laughed at thie irony realizing that tom was basically planned to death by Dumbledore

In the book he Refused to give the location of where the elder wand was but in the film he openly gave the location of the elder wand

Both characters were evil, but Grindelwald had a soul. Voldemort had ripped his apart to the point that he no longer had one that existed whole. I think Grindelwald looked at him as more of an angry child, than a true threat. He had nothing to live for and just laughed at Tom when he saw him.

I mean he already kinda scared of Dumbledore which at this time is only a shadow of his former self even tho he has horcrux and shits

In my opinion the movie did this moment much better than the Book. Grindenwald welcomes Tom as a little Boy who’s desperately following in his footsteps. He doesn’t see the second Dark Lord, he sees an imitator. There is no fear, only enjoyment. And that is why he tells Voldy where it is. because he does not care and is curios how things will play out.

It will be great if in the next Fantastic Beast Movie, they tell about the origin of Tom Riddle, the story of him assist Dumbledore in battling Grindelwald and gets a chance of fighting him briefly before finally let Dumbledore gets his final battle with his former lover. It is very interesting how 2 most dangerous dark wizards of all time connected with Dumbledore: one is his former lover and another is his former student whom he found in the first place.

What's crazy, is as badass as voldy and grindewald was, and as powerful as dumbeldor was... they'd all be demolished with a quick snap of the fingers from Merlin instantly..

For those of you that don't know, merlin is essentially the most powerful wizard to have ever existed in the Harry Potter universe.
