Can you help me? I have a problem. When I killed rockwell and when I moved the map, my dinosaurs that went to fight the boss disappeared.
ОтветитьDamn now I want to play aberration again
ОтветитьI really doubt radiation kills reaper babies. I've never ever seen anyone luring queens into the blue zone, nor ever done it myself, its ridiculous :) Everyone just builds traps inside the radiation zone or - my favourite method - just uses good drakes.
ОтветитьProbably my favourite map, beat it quite a few times before I got bored of it. It's not that difficult once you know what you are doing, certain things are even easier than elsewhere.
ОтветитьThis is the most underrated video I have ever seen
ОтветитьLmao there are a lot of stealth requires for cave. Knowing me, I probably still resorted for war towards the entire species of the cave before I find the artifact 👌
ОтветитьThis was a good guide Thank you!!!
ОтветитьSo first off i adore the thumbnail i for a quick second thought this might have been one of those realistic how to beat ones and just wanted to shit on it but this is so much better thanks for making it look like that
Ответитьdear lord, this map has killed me so many times already. And seeing what i have to kill/gather/ jump/ climb.. dammn!!!! island and SE are nothing compare with this one. Best aberation guide i found !! great job here!!!
ОтветитьIdk if that just your accent, but you're from SA trying so hard to sound American bro it's extremely cringey! Great vid tho 👍
ОтветитьIdk if anyone still watched this but if you want to get your first rock drake egg I would advise using a karkinos because they can jump into most of the nests and it’s probably the safest way to get ur first eggs
ОтветитьDespite a ton of experience on Abb, I did learn a couple things. However, there is some misinformation/mistakes in this video:
1) Species Z plants provide Species Z seeds (every minute you stand by it), which are superior to mushrooms for taming shoulder glow pets. These seeds are also vital for planting in large crop plots if you want to live in the blue/red zone without constant harassment from the nameless at your base. This is a critical detail for mastering this map, which I'm surprised wasn't mentioned. (These seeds are also useful in pvp as flashbangs, and can be used to instantly untrap your tames as well.)
2) As others have noted, Aberrant Megalosaurus are immune to radiation.
3) Reaper queens do not need to be kited to the blue zone as you will survive in the red zone while impregnanted as long as your hazard suit does not break.
4) It's worth mentioning that you can and should enter the element river (without any tames!) if you have a full tek suit on, as the river will recharge it without doing any damage to you. Tek suits also cover the functionality of a hazard suit and without any durability issues, to boot.
5) You know a Reaper Queen is ready to impregnate you when she glows pink; this happens when she is below 2k hp (it's not a %, it's a flat value.) No "hope" required :)
6) I saw you spamming med brews after being impregnated. You can only utilize one med brew every 5 seconds--they do not stack. Dont just spam brews. Time them to be more efficient!
7) Mind wipe, put all points into weight, and fill yourself with BIG stacks of cooked meat before the reaper is born (in the shack). Yes, take one pheromone gland in the shack before birth, but after it wears off, let the baby kill you, and it will take all your cooked meat. SUPER easy baby raise that way.
8) Also, pillars don't block creature spawns.
I just finished watching this, it was a very good guide, will you even do a guide on how to compete genesis ?
Ответитьdo you know what button to pres on xbox to pull up what day it si
Ответитьthanks for this, i'm currently doing streams of the ark story (except SE) and well this will help me lots with when i start aberration
ОтветитьI LOVE THESE GUIDES BECAUSE I NEVER BEAT THE GAME AND THESE HELP ME SO MUCH THANK YOU FOR MAKING THEM!
ОтветитьIt's kinda funny how people forget that you can use 4 dimetrodons to hatch a rock drake egg instead of wasting all that material for ac's
ОтветитьDo you have a video on how to beat extinction
ОтветитьThanks for the guide.. got a little bit lost getting to the tek cave but managed to find it... Still haven't killed the boss though.. Will try again next time..
ОтветитьI— the babies harvest whatever is in your inventory if they attack you...
Half the point of their initial birthing mechanic, is so you don’t HAVE to spend an hour chasing them around, trying to feed them and imprint. Last time I did it, when I revived and took the gland, to get back into the mini-maze house I made, he wasn’t zipping around because I weight capped him with all the meat I had. (Stack mods can help with this, so you don’t have to slot cap yourself or them, but the weight will apply regardless).
Personal I find building just below the break of in the bridge next to the water perfectly safe somehow no dangerous dins spawn and maybe the megalosaurus and karonios are about even as the best tame for blue zone
ОтветитьVery nice guides concon found them most helpful out of ones available
ОтветитьAs someone who has not tried aberration this was entertaining
ОтветитьPurple water recharges your TekSuit. That’s how i recharge it anyways🤷🏽♂️
Hope this can help someone
I really liked this vid :) me and my mates are new to Ark, but I setup my own server and we've been beating the maps in order. We just smashed Scorched earth in 5 days! Hahah we're going to jump onto this in a month, so I'm keen!
Thanks for the details
How do I get to the artifact cave on the red zone? I burned through 3 full hazmat suits trying to fi d the cave and couldn't.
ОтветитьTip for caves using a drake on the water one and radiation one you just use camouflage and essentially skip all the creatures
ОтветитьAs someone who only plays Aberration as the main map to live whenever I do official or small tribes, I really enjoyed this video. However here are some things I need to address. I know someone in the comments already address this, but Aberrant Megalosaurus don't take radiation damage. However one thing you should be considered about when going to the radiation zone is that you have a higher chance of getting kicked off by a purlovia as purlovias get aggroed to megalosaurus. However, you can counter this by having multiple megalosaurus with you as if you manage to grab a drake egg, a single megalosaurus or spino can't survive twenty rock drakes coming after you. It is also worth noting that taming a good spino is a chore anyway as their torpor drop at a much greater rate and the efficient way to tame them is using raw prime fish meat. You only can get raw prime fish meat by harvesting a sabertooth salmon with a sickle. You don't get that much and they spoil pretty fast so in short megalosaurus are the most efficient dino to get your first drake egg and for Rockwell. Megalosaurus is the best dino for early game Aberration anyways and is going to be your main travel mount before getting a drake. If the server is cluster you can use the stalker, mana, or maewing as your main travel mount as they are allowed to be transferred into Aberration.
You actually don't need to cloack when going to the Elemental Vault cave as the only creatures that will aggro to you are the seekers. However you'll need to cloak when going underwater with the drake in the Shadow cave. In case you don't know, you can cheese the Shadow Cave by using the drake as none of the creatures except for the crabs, seekers, and underwater creatures will aggro. In PvP, you’ll most likely get the artifact through crystal isles as the cave is most likely occupied. This is due to the Shadow Cave being the best base location for PvP Aberration and is actually one of the best base locations for PvP in general.
Additional information to add is that for PVP, the basilisk is actually one of the most useful creatures in the game. It has the power similar to a rex, can easily enrage gigas and kill riders with it's poison ball. It can counter manas, which is important in Aberration as manas are for some reason allowed, and has the ability to bury itself. The burying is important as you can hide your stuff in it if you don't trust your base and has the weight capacity to put building material in it. It's better than a purlovia and reaper as buried purlovia can get killed by torches and the reaper can get detected by a drake. For aberration, if you hide your basilisk on a place you can't get on foot, the only way someone can stumble across it is if they are actively looking for buried dinos with a parasuar on a skiff, which is very rare for people to do. Desmodus is not allowed in aberration so you don't have to worry about the bat. It's also really easy to tame a basilisk. The most efficient and safest way to tame a basilisk is to throw your light pet down and put a stone foundation on it. Get on your drake and drop the eggs down one by one. The Basilisk will still be aggroed to the light pet but can't damage it as there is a stone foundation in the way. You'll want to drop the eggs one by one as if you drop all of them at once, the Basilisk AI might get confused when it's ready to eat, which can result in it losing taming effectiveness. The basilisk won’t aggro to you as basilisks don’t aggro to rock drakes. They tend to take 5 eggs in Official with Evolution Events and Small Tribes.
You’ll also need to get an angler at some point to get silica pearls. For silica pearl farming, all you need to do is throw the angler at Fertile Lake, which is often called Pearl Lake. Go to the bottom of the lake and bite the pearls with the angler fish. You should be able to leave the lake with rows of silica pearls.
One more thing to point out is that you can actually beat the Beta Rockwell without any tames. You'll need a decent amount of Cactus Broth, good flak, and a good pump action shotgun. The Rockwell arena doesn't have any radiation so you are able to wear flak in the arena. The Cactus Broth prevents the nameless and reapers from aggroing to you unless you get very close to them. The pump action shotgun is enough to take out Beta Rockwell and his tentacles. For the Alpha Rockwell you'll need to fight him normally as he has way too much health for the time you have. The efficient strategy to beat Rockwell is to have a drake and a bunch of mutated megalosaurus. You can still wear the flak when doing Alpha Rockwell.
The surface entrances and the Elemental Vault cave is your best bet in finding the pump action shotgun, flak, and megalosaurus saddle blueprints to fight Alpha Rockwell.
Overall when you first get introduced to Aberration, it is one of the harder maps in the game due to the overwhelming new mechanics and concepts the map has. However the more you play Aberration it becomes one of the easier maps with the main reason being that you don’t have to worry about the shortage of mutton as sheep are very common in the Green.
With a box of scraps 😂
ОтветитьThis guide was great! Can you do a "How to beat the extinction map" guide?
ОтветитьGreat guide
ОтветитьI'm a noob who plays creative with my friends and lots of times we adventure without commands besides my friend who spwans in a skiff like a tek space ship or smth and we never really spawn in dinos unless they die so I'm playing this map and gonna try to beat it if I do I can flex
Ответитьrockwell is byfar the easiest boss in all of ark, you literally need 3 Cactus broth and a good shotgun and you can solo it...
ОтветитьThis was a great guide, however I’m confused at some of the things you stated. Aberrant Megalosaurs are immune to radiation, Reaper embryos will be safe as long as you wear the hazard suit (it will only disappear if you have the radiation sickness debuff) and finally you don’t actually need to go camouflage in the stalker cave. Everything except seekers will ignore the rock drake and since you’ll be climbing majority of the time you won’t need to keep your light on, making the seeker easy to deal with. Overall though very in depth and explained well for someone who has never played aberration before
ОтветитьHave somewhere in the region of 3k hours on abberation and you taught me that theres one bastard mushroom in every patch! Good work mate! mad good work on the vid! ps Honeybadger here :)
ОтветитьCyberpunk update video from meet hanako at embers
ОтветитьI enjoyed the video but im sad that you didnt talk about the surface which is very important. Great video! keep it up!
ОтветитьYou can use lamprey in place of a hazard suit. It gives radiation protection for 10 minutes. You can use a tamed Dimetrodon in place of air conditioners pump melee stats to increase effectiveness.
ОтветитьThank you for another great tutorial 👏👏😎
ОтветитьOmg this map is hell
Ответить
