Bleach NEW Animation Vs Old Animation

Aside from the look of Orihime's powers, which both fit what her powers should look like; and do in fact look good in the new anime. It's pretty clear they should have stuck with the Fullbring art-style and animation. Or something close to it.

The general CGI and CGI particle effects they use for everything else, especially Quincy powers and Ichigos getsuga; are for the most part, down right insulting to what came before; to say the least. Especially when it comes to the black getsuga. I mean, really; WTF were they thinking? And I don't like the color change to either of Ichigos getsugas.

His shikais always felt closer to a Quincys power because of the blue/white coloring, which made sense to me; because of what old man Zangetsu is, and what he's doing. While his Bankai and his black getsuga felt more like a loosening of the reins, if you know what I mean. It was closer to what his real power and getsuga is/should be. Overall, they made some really distracting and disappointing decisions with the new anime.

the new animation is peak but the old animation was way ahead of its time and is more impressive. the reigai filler arc and fullbring arc had my fav animations

I wish Toei animated Bleach. They would've given proper time to Bleach source material instead of skipping earlier content to start soul society arc quickly. The way toei animates fight scenes is also perfect for Bleach. Bleach characters flying around and fighting like dragon ball characters would look awesome.

Apparently, kubo wanted TYBW to have a modern look which is why we got this. I love it actually.

I can't take it dude the new animation has this cheap flat shading to it and the color grading is trash, how are people not put off by this?

the old clean look is way better in my opinion and it is at it's peak in the full bring arc though defend karakura town arc is really good too.

I prefer old getsugatenshou

For fight sequences like Ulquiorra vs ichigo, the old one is superior. Just look at Yamamoto vs Ywach first pace, it looked like pain vs naruto

Yo you cant compare those Getsuga Tenshous, the older one isn't a normal animation its a god tier Back Handed Nuke from Hell. Shoulda compared to any other one

old animation so nostalgic but the new animation is so hype seeing modern day bleach is so lit

Bleach always had a good animation. It actually keeps getting better and better and definitely one of pierrots finest works

I am so happy the animation studio took their time with bleach. Everything looks so good.

To be honest The New animation is exciting 💯 but the old animation is where its at 🤝🏽
