I’m running up the BS flag on this one. There’s no way in the world you could produce 20,000 units of this 4cyl engine they sell every year by building them this way with 5 workers, borescoping every oil gallery and CMM inspecting every bolt hole! This video is pure BMW marketing bullshit. This looks like a prototyping shop, not a production line!

What kind of alloy used for making boxer engine block? Cast iron or alluminum?

25c a gallon now 5$ a gallon 10 years from now 100$ a gallon. Petrol machines are junk yard dogs. Buy a Tesla and drive into the future.

Just think in 1 or 2 years all this will be gone. Petrol is at best 50 years then coal is 75 years before it is all gone. Yes we may find more but at 800 to 900% increase in cost which makes electric a done deal. Ya cost are 200% more but electric is here to stay. These petrol machines are antiques and a destine for scrap yards to be recycled. Just think Jags, Porsche, Bugatti, Vets laying around useless no one has petrol any more and it is illegal to even start them much less then drive them down the road. So what is a sports car sedan worth nothing. Junk Yard stuff waiting to be recycled.
