The Colortone Roundhouse offers all the classic modulation thanks to 3 types of Tremolo and 3 waveforms. Choose from smooth amp-style optical to chewy Harmonic tremolo and even a lush Vibe effect that can cop those classic rotary speaker or phasey vibes.
Any mode can have its waveform changed from traditional sine and triangle to choppy square. You can further tweak the feel of these pulses with the phase knob, which skews the rise and fall times. You can always dial in just how much tremolo you need with the Mix while a Boost or Cut adjusts the output by +/- 4 dB.
Choose to manually dial in your speed or simply tap it in. The Tap switch also doubles as a momentary speed multiplier for realistic rotary ramping or just a more dynamic tremolo experience. Lastly, you have the option to blend in two pre-modulation effects to sweeten your sounds-- a vast Silverface style Reverb and pre-saturation Grain. The extra grit and output mixed with added space turns simple tremolo effects into an enhanced rhythmic soundscape that stays out front in the mix when you need it to.
