Intel Core i9-10900K(10900KF) vs AMD Ryzen 7 5800X — Test in 10 Games! [1080p, 1440p, 4K]

I was thinking to buy ryzen for cheaper solution, however the price for i9 10900k is only around 300$ in my country. Of course i'm gonna need a good motherboard and cooler for it but in the other hand i'm gonna be fine for another five year i supposed

Thank you for comparing 1080, 1440, and 4k!!! Not enough videos do this, yes I realize CPUs make most difference at 1080p, but if I want to upgrade CPUs, it’s nice to see if there’s any difference at 1440 and 4k, 1080p looks terrible already.

Something is wrong with these benchmarks. The 5800X is running at 70c in battlefield V when normally it runs at almost 80c no matter what cooler you have. The 5800X is heavily undervolted enough to hurt performance or something like that. You would have to de-lid the 5800X to get those kinds of temperatures and he didn't do that or he would have mentioned it.

Wow, look at those 0.1% low differences in Fortnite, and the 1% lows and 0.1% lows in Cyberpunk, GTA 5, and Hitman. It seems that although the difference for the average framerates are negligible, the extra 2 cores and 4 threads on the 10900k make quite a big difference on some games in how smoothly it will run.
Considering the 10900k is cheaper than the 5800x in the UK, and especially the 10850k (which is practically the same as the 10900k with a slightly slower core clock, you are getting a much better deal with intel, at least in the UK. The 10850k can be grabbed for £299 used on Ebay, a complete bargain for a 10 core processor! The 5800x on the other hand is £375, over $100 more than the 10850k in US dollars.

Literally 2 clicks on AMD PBO2 you can put this 5800x to 4.950mhz @ 95w and reduced temps.
Then it would 100% sure win.

I just care about Warzone not other shity single-player games and it seems the decision has been taken.. Ryzen 5800X major fps boost compared to i9-10900k in CoD engine including WARZONE!!! AND NOT ONLY WARZONE... BUT THE WHOLE BR FAMILY AND MOST OPEN-WORLD GAMES. Advanced Micro Devices wins the fight.
