Very well done. Very informative.
ОтветитьHave you ever copied the pleix from a retail GPU cooler (example EK) & added in a res pump combo? Either making it longer, or fatter. ...guess if you wanted to you could make one replacement plexi that has the combo res/pump(s) & replacements for both the plexi from the top of the retail CPU & GPU water coolers. Just thinking this if built would only need one tube run, a single loop with the heated water from the chips going to the radiators & returning to the reservoir. ...guess this would look very boring unless you were going for super tiny sff build.
ОтветитьIs there a secret or a suggested method when installing screws and fittings into distro plates to reduce the risk of cracking the acrylic? I'm building my first and don't wanna break anything!
ОтветитьHow about a distribution block that controls the water & the air? That has channels of empty space in the distribution block to control the air flow in & out of the case. The fans could be mounted within the distribution blocks with the fans out of their square housing & mounted in round housing built/cut into the block.
ОтветитьSomething I've never seen is a CNC 3D milled distribution shape that takes more than two sheets of acrylic. What I have running around in my head for a few years, popping up now & then is a distribution shape that is part of a dual loop, where lines of the other coolant runs through the other distribution block(s), & the distribution blocks are odd shapes with multiple plates with multiple o-rings. Jigsaw puzzle pieces to fit only that build, that case, with particular components, MB, GPU, PSU, RAM, etc.
Ответитьman I miss this channel
ОтветитьAre you running an alcohol mist on the router?
Ответитьwhere can I get that type of custom water packings?
Ответитьlike the vids, its really hard to stop staring at your stache. its so symmetrical.
Ответитьwould it be possible to get a gpu water block made for a gigabyte geforce rtx 3060 vision oc?
ОтветитьPlz bro
ОтветитьBrother, how are you, brother, I have to make you a distro plate, talk to me on Instagram
ОтветитьLink from the polishing end mill?
ОтветитьPlease can anybody tell which software he is using especially for internal threading ?
ОтветитьI use Aspire for my cad/cam. It's normally $2500 but I for a few people on ebay selling it for $15. It's not a true 3D but 2.5D is much easier to use in my experience and since it is primarily used for use within routers it has much more intuitive features optimized for routers and has auto roughing, primary cut and clean up pass based on the size of tool you want to use. I have not made a water but I have done a bunch of wood stuff. I am curious if there are reasons not to use thicker acrylic? I just looked at Amazon and 1"/25mm sheets are only about 2x the price. I was thinking or doing a reservoir or even a 2 sided water block with overlapping paths with different colors. I have not seen anything like that yet and think some cool designs could be done that way.
ОтветитьHow much does this machine cost ?
ОтветитьYour work is a true testament to what can be achieved with a good CNC machine...love the videos!
ОтветитьHow does he get the o rings all the perfect size?
ОтветитьWay the f too many adds bro. Double adds and 5-6 sets of them. Your video is 19 minutea long. F that dued not even traditional tv is that greedy.
ОтветитьHave you ever considered doing these with no o-ring seal? I mean you could skip all of the bolt holes, all of the o-ring seals, and do nothing more than the fluid areas and then use the same kind of acrylic adhesive that is used to build fish tanks... That would give an even cleaner look
Ответитьwow love to get a one off distro plate made for me am to dumb to do it my self
ОтветитьHi Alex, what type of coolant do you use?
ОтветитьDude, your moustache is super distracting lol
Ответитьsaw the mustache and hit subscribe!!
ОтветитьWho in the world is qualified to dislike this?
ОтветитьI bought the distro. It self is way to thin and lite for use with d5 pump the mounting brackets are really nice. the distro itself is 2 thin and light and flow is highly restrictive. would I buy from him again ? ONLY IF HE GOES THICKER like EK WHICH I have bought 3 of since I bought his. EK did it right. I buy around 25 of these every year and every day it gets better.
ОтветитьYour speech is much quieter than the stock music which is really hard to watch (I keep adjusting the volume and miss what you are saying).
ОтветитьAlex is Einstien of Distro.
ОтветитьWould it be possible to flamepolish the machined surfaces, or is the danger to round over those desired crisp edges too great?
ОтветитьThe surface of the milling path is shiny, can you tell me how to do it
ОтветитьThat looks so sexy. If i was watercooling i would pump that all night long.
Ответитьwow can't wait to finish on a project ... great DIY cooling board - time to learn and accept what cannot be done technically like looping an ICE cold chiller into the BOARD itself ...

ОтветитьWithout a doubt the best pc modeller that i have ever seen !!! Incredible.
We need your background alex if you may
Wonderful video. Very intriguing. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a custom water block/ reservoir like this made and roughly how much it costs? I just built my first pc and am planning on water cooling in the future.
Ответитьare you using auto-desk inventor to make your 3d models????
ОтветитьHow much do you reccon it would cost to have this made by someone else? Roughly estimates? Is there some parts of the machining that is more expensive then others, or rather if I design my own distro plate what are things that really ramps up the price? Thanks for a great show? I was quoted 95 euros for one side of a distro pump plate that you made a tutorial of earlier, is that a fair price is is it a rip of?
ОтветитьAre we able to request you to make us a distribution plate on commission?
Ответитьyou do custom distroplates? Just Curiousity.
ОтветитьI would like to see more on how to work with the CNC mill. How do you fix the parts, what security measures must be taken to protect you and your tools. how do you make the final cut? Changing tools etc. I am kinda hesitant with such things, mainly because of lack of experience.
ОтветитьThis guy does what high-end system integrators have been doing for years he's amazing
ОтветитьQuestion: What kind of screws do you use to tighten these?
ОтветитьGreat vid! How deep is the o-ring groove and what is the diametre of the o-ring cord?
ОтветитьWhat is the black base called that you are using?
Ответитьlike ya stache
