that's a nice walk cycle, i imagine it was used for a online video for an online portfolio. Well done regardless.. :) only saw a few things i would have changed, but that's probably a difference in taste.. Artistic license ftw!

@raphaeljoseph14 I'd say keyframes, VERY intricate keyframes. Look at the 2nd half, you can see the clues. I've got this model too, but I could never be bothered to make any anims for it. I'd rather animate my OWN creations.

@Nastypsychoboy The characters pre-rigged so you aint gotta worry about the rigging. all you need to do is animate it. Its a model you can get off the net, plenty of people have. Gotta give credit for the keyframing tho, that musta taken TIME. You can tell its not mocap.

never make your character to start from the static pose.. nice effort . give some life in the figure. never keep it dead or wooden.. have a doubt is it mo-cap cleanup or key-frame..

The BS of all these wingers is that if it was some ripped dude with a macho stride there wouldn't be a peep. But since it's a chick... well, the evidence speaks for itself... haters gonna hate. Anyway, I work with 3D and I know that this sorta thing is pretty tough, and takes a lot of work. So Kudos man, nice job, slick animation.

hey dorlic1, you're half way there :) the anim has a good timing and spacing, but look on more reference footage, check out how top models walk on fashion shows.. the upper part of the back doesn't move quite as much, most of the motion is in the hips themselves. and other than the hands, it looks promising. keep pursuing that dream, mate

@campydoodles You're referring to the poorly done skirt and mediocre materials, no? While I agree the poster could have easily used the Cloth modifier, the overall body is well modeled and extremely well skinned. This isn't mediocre, this is quite well done, just not brought up to the professional level.

It's good to see that expensive software can still produce mediocre results.

Oi people. It's just a study/practice in character movement. It could use some work but it's a start. There might be a bit too much swing of the hips to be a truly realistic woman.

lol, why would you put this online? shadows are terrible, her skirt looks like its up her ass and her upper body is way to ridged. Walk needs some work. Lower torso is done decent though.

@toonybrain I bet it's Mocap so your reasoning fails. You can definantly tell it's a female walk. I went to animation school as well and cartoon walks a different than realistic walks.
