All I know is when I want to buy something and I get bombed with extra shit I say 'Fuck you' and go somewhere else. Stop with the fucking extra pages and treat me like an adult human instead of a God dam ADL goblin.

I remember seeing a commercial for the new Dr. Pepper 10, which only had 10 calories. They marketed it as saying that diet drinks are girly and it was marketed as a drink with the catchphrase: “It’s not for women!” Perfect example of misogyny taking over a board room full of old white guys. I guarantee you they did not show that commercial to one single woman before airing it, because they would have told them how stupid an idea that was.

I often wonder how many dumb people must be in one place at any one time to let stuff get through the ENTIRE system and process of making a show or commercial that we actually get to see some of the shit we do.

I was watching a music video by a VERY famous producer, it might have even been a number one.. and the lyrics were on the screen and they were full of spelling errors.

How does something like that happen without anyone someone saying something.

Some company did a thing where you turned in bottlecaps to win prizes, and during the Super Bowl, they made a joke ad saying that a million bottlecaps would win them a private jet or something. Someone actually did this, and the company forgot to mention beforehand it was just a joke.

Ever hear of "Down the Tubes"? A wheat snack for losers. Heavily advertised in the 1980s, the product did not last very long. The ad featured an overweight man in a leaky rowboat claiming that "Down the Tubes" was made for losers like him. The ad finished with the rowboat sinking while the man ate away at the snack.

The Ayds part reminds me of the South Park episode where the word aid (for assistant) was misunderstood to mean the virus.
