good reminder of how versatile xpand is
ОтветитьCongratulation! This video is one of the finest and most helpful that I've watched. Thank You very much!
ОтветитьIs Pro Tools an obligation to run Xpand ? I work with Bitwig
ОтветитьHow are you playing the drum loops in expand? Do I need a midi keyboard?
ОтветитьHi, did you use a midi keyboard for previewing the kicks menu, or is there some other way?
ОтветитьAbsolutely loved watching and the Irish certainly know and love their music.
Thank you sir.
Yes ist good09poipoipo!!
Sounds good...and you don't use "FX" ...you can use Reverb, oder or Chorus....
And make a Room around...and than you have again a complete other Sound, than NOW!
This is the RAW Material...l my opinion it sounds very good!
I never do something with xpand! but i must to try to!!!
Thanks!
Lol I didn’t know there were drum loops in xpand
I have wondered about using my drum genius on ios
And looping it into my daw
Thanks for this video
what an excellent tutorial..guys like you are priceless!!
Ответитьfor fl studio you have to buy the xpand2 plugin so its a little bit more expensive.
ОтветитьThere's one question I have and I don't know why no one ever talks about it. How do you adjust the tempo?
Ответитьcan't you just "commit" all tracks instead of recording an aux audio out? bound to save loads of manual labour.
Ответитьdo you or anyone know if they will upgrade it for Mac OSx Catalina users? Cant install it cause of this
Ответитьand also this is not exactly a stock plugin by any means. This is a premium plugin that happens to ship with pro tools. This thing still goes for 120 bucks and sometimes its on sale for 20 or even 1 buck but dont let that fool you, this is a full on premium plugin. Many people overlook AIR plugins for whatever reason.
ОтветитьX
Ответитьdoes it play automatically when u place the beat on the plugin??
ОтветитьWell done
ОтветитьToppa the mournun tya!
ОтветитьWhat a waste of time. Absolutely nothing educational or informational.
Ответитьhi. Great video. I have subscribed. I'm a little stuck and want to order a table top alesis drum kit as a trigger set. Just using pro tools first stock plugins will i be able to set it up to record midi drums and use an electric kit as a trigger? thank you.
ОтветитьIndeed, with Pro Tools First you can really fly with simple hip hop production. I honestly don't think you need Reason or Logic if you have Pro Tools
ОтветитьDamn this was used in headlines by Drake? That's one of my favorite songs and beats from Drake
ОтветитьBought it this week for 14.99 on Plugin Butique.
ОтветитьI'm a complete beginner and realized from the first 2mins i have no idea how you got the black bar across the top with tracks presets and audio across the top can you explain for this dummy thanks
ОтветитьCan't change the BPM IN Xpand2. Where is the tempo change in the program?
ОтветитьCan i create these beats without a midi controller?
ОтветитьWhen I click the plus / minus buttons to scroll through the sounds...it goes in a totally random order.
Anyone know why? Thank you
my friend produces good music with just a standard GM sound ... I guess because he can really play the keyboard and know about arrangement
ОтветитьThanks bro
ОтветитьI completely agree with the setiment of this video. I'm new to DAWS in general, and I downloaded the trial version of Studio One and created a great sounding song, using only the plugins from the Studio One (including the arpeggiator). Then, once my trial had expired I was only really left with Presence and a handful of effects, and no arpeggiator. And because I hadn't recorded my MIDI to audio files, I had to 're-work' the entire song with the those remaining plugins. And, actually, it finished up sounding really good. And since then, that's all I've been using to create tracks (until a few weeks ago, when I got myself an M-Audio CTRL49, which comes with loads of AIR VSTs and Ableton Live Lite). So, my moral here is that not having a whole myriad of pricey VSTs actually helped me focus on getting the best out of what I had and really learning to mix well. Now, I can move forward with some new VSTs and maybe get a proper version of Studio One - but I'll still be using Presence!
ОтветитьHi friend. For your experience is it possible to create a realistic drum sound with Xpand?
Cheers!
This was gloriously helpful! Thank you immensely for creating this & sharing! <3 !!!!
Ответитьthis is great man! I did think that I needed premium plugins and I have been considering getting the maschine with the komplete software. Now I am going to explore with xpand!2 and reconsider! although I think in terms of workflow it's a bit easier to have a hardware like the maschine.. what do you think?
ОтветитьThanks man!) ppl like you bring hope to humanity , its the little things, cheers brother
ОтветитьHi how do you find pre made drum kits? Or how do you create them?
ОтветитьGreat video
