I had the same problem, changing the name of the file will let Photoshop CC work, but you lose Chrome and some other things in Windows. I found what the real problem is. Lavasoft belongs to a program called Web Companion which is an Ad-ware program which is installed without you knowing it when you install certain programs. It is suppose to help keep ad-ware away, but it causing more problems than it does good. Uninstall Web Companion in your Program Files folder and you will not have anymore problems with Photoshop.

Anything for nvidia users? I've searched the entire internet and haven't found a solution.
