I stumbled upon CK3 in a live stream and I was confused as hell, but at the same time thought that this might be a game for me. You covered everything I needed to know to start out, get a feel of the gameplay, without spoiling some of the OP strategies (ok, murdering your children might be one of those). I think I'm gonna buy it.

Just bought the game after falling into the rabbit hole of watching Zieley save people's messed up games. I tried the free CK2 and created the Kingdom of Ireland but after a while I lose the kingdom to internal and external strife. CK3 seems to be a little more forgiving and I can't wait to master this game and start building empires.

How can I rapidly expand the land in my empire?

Every time I wage war, I only get the land that I had a claim on. How can I take all the land in a different empire?

I revently bit the bullet and bought CK3 when it was on sale. CK2 confused tf out of me and I never really felt like I knew what I was doing, so this tutorial has been really helpful!

A great 20 min primer for CK3, obviously can't fit everything in in that time but frankly the only thing i'd have added is a bit about buildings in holdings but frankly this is great for new players.

Creating a custom character is by far the most fun, but I highly suggest to play your first playthrough as Murchad in 1066. Ireland is very easy to conquer and relatively safe from invaders early on. With a custom position you just risk having a terrible starting area.

I created a marriage for my character but she didn't move to my holdings and therefor cannot join my council. How do I get her to move to my capital?

Wait a minute if you have two sons , you dont actually need to kill him , i mean theres another way , cant you just marry him to someone else and choose matrilineal marriage , so the titles didnt get half ?

So i did almost exactly the same thing on my first game and as soon as i made the title of munster that one Norse guy on the tip of brittany declared war on me with his 7000ish troops to my 1000ish and killed my entire family in battle with the exception of my wife who died in his jail 😅 what a welcome to the game

this is, for obvious reasons, not a guide to understand 100% of the game but it will surely help you to get your feet wet on the game. im currently at 200~hours but here i am still looking for tutorials. thank you very much :)
