Get Kiri, it looks like the best by far. I am going down this route doing the exact same thing you are doing
Ответитьdo you have any videos where you are doing the 3d work inside fusion to get it to fit into the machines? i would be interested in that
Ответитьnot free
Ответитьcan I ask what phone did you use to scan? I have a sony xperia xz1 compact, with the 3d scanning facility. I wouldn't have a clue how to 3d model it once in the software :D
ОтветитьDamn hope so don't feel like rigging up a laser arduino kinect and a turn table haha
ОтветитьExactly the video I needed, thank you!
ОтветитьDude this is amazing, I need to rebuild the tail lights of my car because they broke and i wanted to see if i could scan it to print a cover for them. Now i need to learn how to create 3d objects lol. I just bought an ender and im going to start from zero. Thanks for the video, it was very useful :)
ОтветитьI wasted lots of time before I figured out that for NeedItMakeIt phone means Apple! If you have Android, don't waste your time here!
ОтветитьWill this work if I wanted to scan a corner of a trunk cubby so I can then 3D print a small 8” subwoofer box?
ОтветитьIf you teach a 2 year old how to use a 3d design app, that's the result. I guess we are still a bit away from 2yo 3d designers.
ОтветитьI used to fly my drone.. do photogrammetry from the sky and 3-D print the topography and houses I take pictures of. One thing that’s fun to do too is photo capture the imagery like you’ve done of human heads I did my son and myself and made 3-D printed keychains of each family member
ОтветитьIf you don't mind a little cleanup, you can dust your shiny surfaces with something like sawdust or add a watery/runny toothpaste mixture to a toothbrush and flick it onto the surface and let it dry to give it a flat, speckled surface pattern, and easy to wipe off after.
ОтветитьI scanned my penis and there was a significant size discrepancy. Not cool.
ОтветитьSimply great. Is the software able to export files in dwg Format?
ОтветитьThank you for the video. I will try it in the engine bay that amlooking to modify. Thank you again
ОтветитьI’d love to but I will not buy into a subscription…. Still nice to see that this gots better and better.
ОтветитьI would pay $100 for this software to purchase it outright. I would pay $0 for a subscription model
ОтветитьMaybe the hose on top as apposed to the side as this will ensure an even negative pressure.
ОтветитьAdd a 90 degree elbow.
ОтветитьI use scann3d for taking the pictures but then i thransfer them to my pc and put them in meshroom.
ОтветитьI want to do this but i have little experience with using fusion360, also i couldnt find any videos or tutorials explaining how you can produce parts from a scan
ОтветитьFor reflective surfaces, tinactin foot spray makes a GREAT fogging spray. Leaves an opaque layer to scan. Even works on glass! Cheap, and available everywhere.
ОтветитьThe outlet of the housing for the planar should leave to one side to not disturb the outcoming part (as seen in the video). Also relavitely logical not to construvt it over the machine.
ОтветитьQuick things to consider is to 1: have an item in view for scaling purposes (the meshes usually import way off scale from Polycam) and 2: export as an FBX file as it brings in the color/photo mapping info (the other option for fusion 360 only bring in the mesh )
ОтветитьI have the Makita 8030 - Would love to make a dust collector for it, I just need a 3D printer....and some CAD skills....
ОтветитьI designed and printed a dust hood for my 15" planer, and I had to print it in 3 sections to minimize support and to fit my print bed. My planer came with a hood with port in the middle, and that's the reason I had to make my own.
ОтветитьFor creating parts that fit 100% perfectly. I prefer to use good old measuring.
ОтветитьI hate apple but the iphone 13 pro maxipad has lidar which is excellent for 3d scanning.
ОтветитьSoak your planer extraction mock up in resin or super glue (cyanoacrylate) and it'll be good for years.
ОтветитьiPhone only
ОтветитьNice job with the makita 2040 this machine is worth the time and money you'll put in!!! And thanks for the infos!
Ответитьyou could print a angled adapter for the planer dust collection.
ОтветитьGood video. What is the computer program your using before fusion 360?
ОтветитьInteresting app you found there. What were the free apps that worked best for you? Or were all pretty bad at being made to work?
ОтветитьTry athletes foot spray on shiny/clear surfaces, should help with imaging
ОтветитьIdeally, Photogrammetry software likes to differentiate a given pixel from its neighboring pixels. For the regions that were giving problems, apply a temporary contrasting color, such as dollar store athletes foot powder spray. A light dust coat works best so that you can see the background color between the powder droplets. It also dries faster.
Allow adequate drying time so the wetness doesn't appear different as the spray dries between image captures
Considered the app until you mentioned it's a subscription based product. Really impressive and informative video, thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьGreat job! I’ve been wanting to scan some parts to mod and print! 🤘🏻
