How to Wire Aftermarket Radio into Any Car | Wiring Colors Explained

I have a question I just hooked up an aftermarket radio on a 2009 Chevy HHR I connected all the wires yellow to yellow but on my harness it comes with a separate red wire I connected that to the ignition switch fuse but it's draining my battery What could be the issue??

Can I connect the purple 12+ reverse cam wore on with the red 12+ wire? Thanks so much. Asome videos

Yeah they are all color matched in your video. But, I need A video for same exact aftermarket radio to my 2005 Chevy Silver LT 1500 for my Bowes bypass 150 dollar harness. It's got alot of extra wires on it comeing free m the green door charm box.
