Hi Loupdeck - I have your Loupdeck + and have ordered the CT. I am completely confused that your FCPX terms are NOT the same as FCPX's are so I really have no idea what some of them are, what they do. Can you guy please please please write a key or, better yet, change the terms to reflect what they are actually called. It is making customizing a long and tedious game of trial and error as I experiment with what ever the heck the possible assigns mean. For example, what the heck is a spine? I saw another video review of this and discovered spine means "Primary Storyline".

Color wheel doesn't turn on automatically when I use the knobs. I have to use my mouse to add a correction "COLOR WHEEL" to use the knobs for adjustments!? The is no option to assign a function to add this correction either.

A smaller, cheaper pad used only for color grading would a better solution. Hitting multiple keys for adding a clip to a timeline would greatly bog down workfkow. Not to mention it's really just shortcuts, which your keyboard also does for every command. I like the idea of a peripheral like this for Final Cut but video editors have different needs than photo editors. And this is designed for photographers with video seemingly being an after thought to gain new markets.

The controldial is the biggest knob and perfect for single frame adjustments. Why not use that. Next clip can be done with arrows. Moving a dial to skip clips is not very ergonomic. And as seen in the movie you have to move it quit a bit. Can this be setup? Using the big dial for single frame adjustments.

You guys need to make a skin with the commands for editing!!! Then this can really rock!

Make videos showing you editing real projects at 75% of a real editor so we can see in action....are you trying to make editing easier or faster?

The ONLY thing this would be good for is color work. It's much faster to work with a mouse and keyboard.

Awesome! Meanwhile, so many possibilities to customise, that one would like a chart, showing all functions available, to make the processing easier to learn. This request applies to all compatible softwares, including FCP X, Lightroom, Photoshop, Luminar 3, etc.
