Best version of this song I’ve heard!

It is terribly sad when very good friends split up for petty reasons. I know as I have been there. Life is short and death is very, very, long. If you have a "feud" with a once great friend, I suggest letting it go and try to resolve it. It doesn't always work, but at least you can know you tried rather than saying "I wish I..." after they are gone.

Until this version of the song, I had not been able to pick out Crosby's vocal line. Had no idea he was a high tenor.

Somehow Graham Nash looks a little bit like George Harrison to me. Could also been a nice couple making great songs. Maybe David Crosby does it now in heaven. I miss both of them.

No slight intended to Crosby, but the simplicity of Nash singing the first few lines alone is really beautiful to me... not only his voice and the meaningful words but his facial expression and overall appearance too. I'm always impressed when a lone guy can pick up an acoustic guitar and sit on a stool and create beautiful sounds like that.

This is "A Classic", capital A, capital C.

Crosby's voice is wonderful, probably one of the best close harmony singers there is.
