Great video. Unplugging works! Why does the TV need resetting? My basement Vizio does not do this anymore (for that TV I only got video and no audio) since I plugged it into a "separate" electrical circuit. My beast of an 85" Quantum X family room Vizeo did this (audio but no video) for the very first time after one months use.

I had a black screen with a blinking power light. I fixed mine buy unplugging the device in the USB port. Try unplugging everything from the back. It worked for me.

I did a hard reset and my TV is stuck on a black screen (on but no HUD or any display windows) with the power light off. Tried unplugging everything and it still is stuck. Been about 30 minutes
Edit: fixed it by spamming "input" and "home" button very quickly, I literally started spamming it after all hope was lost lol

Hey Juan, we've got a Vizio V435-H1 hooked up to a computer using UHD HDMI cable, and a regular monitor hooked up to the same computer with a regular HDMI cable. The regular monitor is working rock steady, but whenever we pass the mouse pointer from anywhere in the Vizio's desktop display down to the task bar, the screen blacks out. When we move the mouse pointer back to the regular monitor, the Vizio comes back to full display. We've tried hard resets to no avail. I realize this is a long shot - but do you have even a guess as to what might be happening? Asking for a friend... who is extremely frustrated. Thanks!

The only method that worked for me was to first unplug the TV. Then walk it to the backdoor, and then tossing it out into the yard as hard as I could! To my surprise, the black screen was gone!
