It always kinda surprises me that people don't realise this is what these young celebrities go through like this is pretty much what I expected. It's horrible which is why I never really understood the hate trains these kids get either. I get how people can hate genuinely negative celebs but people like the D'amelio's didn't expect to get popular it just happened and now it's their life

I agree with this video so much like I feel like everyone needs more empathy for them and people like them. Just because they have more advantages and riches than us doesn’t mean their feelings and emotions aren’t valid.

What he said about the singers he knew in school is so frickin' true. I went to CAPA in Philly (which is a Creative and Performing Arts High School) and it was like Fame every single day at school! We even had a piano in our lunchroom, which was there for us to practice, but we usually just jammed on it. And yeah, even on the subway ride home we'd be singing or playing the sax or something, absolutely annoying EVERYBODY half the time, I'm sure (though since it was CAPA everybody was really good so the other half of the time they enjoyed it haha)

As someone who's been in choir for years, I still get anxiety over singing in front of people. I started vocal lessons in late 2022, and it took me a while to sing without nervously laughing, and there were no cameras. Now, I've gotten more comfortable with it. I feel for Dixie because singing one-on-one with someone else can be rough, but singing in front of millions through a camera is terrifying.

why are we assuming you have to write your lyrics/melody to be a singer? A singer sings, period. Dixie (or Charlie idk) can be just a singer, no need to be a songwriter too. Some ultra famous singers didn't wrote a thing of what they sang

I don't know much about the D'amelio sisters but I saw Charli on Dancing with the Stars and everything about how she acted made me uncomfortably worried. She seemed so apathetic and overly aware of everything she said or did. I couldn't help but feel like that girl is not ok.
